Initially, i was thinking for squats, but I figured I should probably take it easy on the knees for awhile, been getting some pretty bad inflammation in the knee joints mainly due to a lack of both mobility &stability over the months
So i'm probably going to try it out for bench... it'd be a good opportunity for me to really focus on it and put up some bigger numbers since it's probably my best lift out of the 3. If it's good enough and I can bench at least 285 without assistance, i'll consider going for a powerlifting meet

^ I've recommended it in the past, and I still recommend it now. Upped my bench 20lb in 3 weeks, easy. The 2nd and 3rd week are tough though, but definitely worth it.

how competitive are those local powerlifting meets anyways? i got round a 1100 lb total for the big 3 @ 165 lbs

but in the men's, i think there are some guys with 1300 lb totals at your weight
regardless, I think you'd do pretty damn well, go for it man...
I think for me, if I focused on benching for a few months, i could get pretty damn high.. its just a matter of time commitment for me
at the juniors level, last time i checked, for my weight (165 lb), i think the record was 295lb in BENCH only

altho the sudden change to damp cold weather has made my old man joints all phaggy time. so lifts are weaksauce right meow.
