Went to SC for a late night back session with a friend, and decided to do some bench after while waiting for him to finish.
Did
135x1,
185x1
205x1
225x1
245x1 (old PR)
Felt good so I added a 5lb plate on each side, and hammered out 255x1.
On top of this world!!! And on the plus side, I'm now officially benching over 100lb above my BW
Oh, and here's some updated photos. Tricep picture is contrasted a bit; original photo was lost after I sent in my phone for repairs.
And don't mind the bad ass background

After about 8 months off from the gym to heal my back after a car accident and then do simple at home workouts, I went back to the gym last week with the JCD fitness beginners routine in hand. Not having done proper squats and deadlifts for so long, I took the weights low, but still couldn't believe how out of form I was. 135lbs DL last week felt like shit, and overly fatigued my lower back. Personal training sesh this morning focusing on form.....the same 135lbs was amazingly easier. Picked out what I need to work on to continue to perfect my form. I am really looking forward to getting back to the 365lb squat and DL's I had 6 years ago when I played football.
cant believe it had been almost 5 years since i have been in the gym. I am still hungry for more!!!!!. I love looking back and seeing how i have always made progress with my physique and always making gains and letting nothing get in the way. If you want something that bad there is no reason not to achieve it.
