Haha, I am a lot weaker than many of you guys but I had some fun with deadlifts today
5x1x365lbs
6x5x315lbs
Hoping to PR anything over 405lbs by New Years.
Even though it's common knowledge that a lot of people don't know how to squat properly, it just blows me away every time. Guess what I had to watch in between my deadlift sets?
Although I hit a PR of 185x7 on the BB row, I had a terrible day with the bench. After being out of the gym for two weeks (1 week off after the smolov program, and 1 week off due to flu), I tried to go for a new PR on the benchpress. Silly me. I hit 170 no problem (my old PR), then went for 180. The guy spotting me was a nice guy, but I guess spotting wasn't his niche. I told him to let me grind out each rep, unless I ask for his help. Three quarters through my 180 attempt, the grind starts. My spotter panics and helps me finish the rep, even though I know I would've had that, 100%. I went for 190 next. Again, I told my spotter not to help, unless I ask for it. Once again, at three quarters through my rep, I start grinding out the final quarter. My spotter, once again panics and decides to help me finish my rep. This time I started to get fed up, and tried to go for 190 again. This time, I really needed the spotter cause I got through half of my rep and failed. I felt exhausted after all this.

i'm pretty sure if you can do 315 for like 10+ reps, you could do 4 plates...

Is there a way to fix a bent d-ring on my dip belt? I only got this a week ago
