I have been struggling with squats. Would box squats set to parallel be of benefit? Squat seems to be my weakest lift...

I believe you mentioned you were on a 5x5 program? How many days are you squatting a week? Try squatting 2-3 times a week. Maybe one day 5x5 and another day where you work in the higher rep ranges 8-10+. Maybe even a set or two of 20 reps here and there. My legs seem to respond really well to high reps and high volume.
The high volume is also great for nailing down your technique and finding that perfect "groove."

I basically do OHP + 2 supplementary exercises on Monday, Tuesday - Deads + 2 sups, Thursday - bench + 2 sups and Friday - squats + 2 sups.. I do 5x5 on the main lifts and 3x8 on supplementary lifts. Its not really 5x5.
I will give higher volume a try! I think my form and flexibility need work tbh.

No worries man. That looks like a solid routine. Try squatting as one of your supplementary lifts on your deadlift day.

Seated shoulder press 75lb dbs x10 with spot. Always need a spot to get the 75s up but once they are up I am good to go. Still trying to hit 3x5 OHP 150lbs.
Looking forward to squat tonight. I have been struggling with low bar for quote a while now. Going to try high bar again

jsut had a heated arguement with a buddy about how to squat. This bish dont even spreads his knees and goes down with his knees as close as he can get them. i told him he was wrong and he said "but u have to kick ur butt as far back as you can"
i told him that had nothing to do with ur knees and yes u have to stick ur butt out, but not as if ur trynna hip check the air.
essentially he was looking like this
when i was explaining this

Just bought 4x of those $5.99/lb t-bones. Looking forward to eating it tonight.
Might buy a bunch more and shove them in the deep freeze. They are about $7-8 each

My shoulder is FINALLY starting to feel better! I've been using this time to work on flexibility. I have terrible hip flexibility, especially hip flexors. Am unable to squat to parallel without my back rounding unsafely. So definitely am going to keep on with flexibility before I start back with squats.
