^lol was going to ask why your squat is heavier than your deadlift.

I tried sumo deadlift today for the first time and got 4 plates for 3 consecutive reps.
But can't get 4 plates for 1 rep with my usual romanian/frogstance

Very nice man, I applaud you.

Switched back to layne norton, but modified it to fit into 4 days. Upper/lower body power, chest/back hypertrophy and shoulders/legs, tossing in arms/calves whenever I can.

The pumps are amazing still able to lift heavy as well, love this routine

was planning on going HAM at the gym today but I left all my pre-workout supps at work...

Good thing I found a sample pack of PWO in my cupboards.

8 hrs of sleep, new tunes in the iPod, took my morning shit, belly full of PWO and Coco water.

Anyone have a suggestion on where to get a rubber mat to put under a weight bench (instead of putting it on my laminate floor)? Checked Costco but they didn't have anything

I don't think that's unusual. I know many people (including myself) who are squat dominant. At one point, my squat was 20lb stronger than my deadlift.

Just had a workout for lulz that focused on the upper portion of my back. Been doing a lot of trap and rear delt work. Somewhat neglected those muscles in the past

im this close to finally taking meds for bi-polar. It's getting in the way of my training and my schooling.

fuaaaaaaaaaaaaarck

I deadlifted 360 yesterday though. I learned that if I tightened my grip I can deadlift more.

Learned a neat little trick for deadlift/shrug grip that works surprisingly good. Might be handy for those of you who lift in a gym with a no chalk rule because fuck straps.

My gym has all brand new equipment and all the barbells feel like they sort of have a greasy feeling coating to them that hasnt worn off yet, even when wiped down. Combine that with my sweaty hands, the bar likes to slide out of my hands (not grip issue). And sometimes Im too lazy to bring chalk

Grab a piece of paper towel (my gym has those brown tear off sheets and a spray bottle literally everywhere), get it damp, fold in half and wrap it around the bar where your hands go. Instant grip of peace.

So far it gives the same amount of grip at 400lb deadlift as chalk. I might not even bother with chalk anymore this is so easy.

When I saw another bro doing it I instantly thought wtf phaggot but after I tried I was definitely mirin.

I've learned to not give a fuck about anyone else in the gym unless I'm with my partner, they're only cheating themselves.
Gotta focus on me first.
