This deserves a thanks but my phone wont let me! If it works you are the king! I always forget chalk.

My gym has all brand new equipment and all the barbells feel like they sort of have a greasy feeling coating to them that hasnt worn off yet, even when wiped down. Combine that with my sweaty hands, the bar likes to slide out of my hands (not grip issue). And sometimes Im too lazy to bring chalk

Grab a piece of paper towel (my gym has those brown tear off sheets and a spray bottle literally everywhere), get it damp, fold in half and wrap it around the bar where your hands go. Instant grip of peace.

So far it gives the same amount of grip at 400lb deadlift as chalk. I might not even bother with chalk anymore this is so easy.

When I saw another bro doing it I instantly thought wtf phaggot but after I tried I was definitely mirin.

Took a month off deadlifts - first day back I got 405lbs up for 3 reps.

A week later, 5 reps. =D

Almost back to full strength

That's a huge issue at SC. Nobody knows gym etiquette. Plates all over the place, and dumbbells are never put away lol

Just checking in, did my third workout this week, after a 3 month layoff. Back to doing bodyweight workouts on my rooftop, it's the only way I can manage the time. If my time/money situation gets better, I'll go back to the gym.

My workout now is 4 circuits (will move to 5 as soon as I can complete 4 without dying) of:

10 x jumping squats
5 x ab wheel
10 x single leg deadlift
10 x pushups
10 x jumping jacks
10 x reverse lunge with twist
10 x pike pushups
10 x squat thrust (this is the killer)

0 seconds rest - just stop to catch breath when I can. First circuit takes about 3:30 then it goes up from there

Can't believe how bad I got in those 3 months

i know eh, people nowadays

Was training till the community center closed, and dumbbells were lieing all around the floor. Me being the gentlemen I was, helped the elderly gym attendant put all the weights back onto the racks and sort them out. Was a good grip strength and trap exercise to say the least

Good on you man, one of the worst things to do is to go back into the gym and lift heavy weights right after months of being inactive.

Bodyweight workouts are wayyy too underrated

you should add some burpees in there somehow if you can

I used to do the same when I trained at a community centre for 1.5 years. I usually went at night, so I helped put the plates back into the right spots on the rack. The lady was grateful, and the funny thing is that she called me by the wrong name the entire time

I usually stick to SC when it comes to back training. I don't mind SFU for chest and legs though.
