Enjoying my new lifting shoes. Xmas gift from my folks. Adidas Powerlift Trainer (picture below) for $115 CDN shipped from ebay. Much more stability than the cross trainers I was using. Looking forward to power leg day

the snatch is such a technical move. it's either you do it completely right or look stupid as hell attempting it

i'm tempted get back into cleans. cleaned (without the jerk) 225 without a problem over half a year ago. now that my legs are way more developed, i think 315 is attainable within a year to a year and a half if i dedicated myself to it

What exercises will you be using them for?

The snatch is one of the most technical exercise there is. It's much harder to learn compared to the clean.

Were you at SC around 2ish? I recognized you by your avatar. I was the small guy in a white tshirt and black sweats finishing off calves.

fuck, i think i hurt my sternum doing heavy dips from last week. it would hurt if i pressed against it or twist my body to the left.
VERY unnoticeable, but breathing feels a bit off.

should I be worried? lol Googled my symptoms, and I'm thinking its costochondritis

Seems like I hurt myself every week.

Yes, I was at SC at that time. I was warming up for squats. Come say hello to me next time.

You should be fine. Take it easy on dips the next little while.

yea i workout at a place without bumper plates or a platform, so i dont wanna bail on snatch and drop it straight to the ground lol.

i can get up to 235, but it takes forever to increase weight esp. since i dont have a coach

I can't even deadlift that weight. Shrugging 560 is mind blowing.
