I know that feel bro... On days like these, I just book it outta the gym as soon as I can so I don't stay there and ruminate/contemplate about whether or not I should try harder. If it's a bad day - poor sleep, poor diet, etc, unless you're there to relieve some stress, it won't be good for the gains

legs are ded

low bar squats 185lbs 5x5
bench 195lbs 5x5 (soo close to 200)
hamstring curls 180lbs 5x5 (one plate from maxing the machine)
shrugs 550lbs 5x5 ( also machine, not the bar)

good progress since 2012

maybe its the machine, but im doing them using the seated calf-raise machine
i thought it looked easy at first until i actually tried them LOL

A natural GHR is 100x harder than doing it on an actual GHR machine.

Just do it like the girl and give yourself a little push off the bottom for now.

204lbs today but leaner than I've ever been. Bad lighting in this room and my phone's camera has gone potato so sorry for the crappy image quality. Abs don't show in the photo but they're coming along nicely.

Use your hands to push off at the bottom of the movement. I do it on a calf machine as most commercial gyms don't have a glute-ham machine. I'll try to record myself doing it next time and post it.
