Come on over. Decent gyms and from what I have read they are less crowded.

Missed a workout yesterday for the first time in about 2 years! Will do legs tonight instead then I am off to Quebec for a week to see Montreal and Quebec City. Going to rest up and stuff my face with Montreal smoked beef!

Deadlift PR today, 565. Pretty happy with that since I haven't deadlifted for 3 months. Squatting has pretty good carryover.

Never knew you pull sumo! Saw you pull conventional on other vids. Looked easy man. I'm sure you can hit 6 plates.

Hehe this is my 4th time pulling sumo. I just feel safer maxing out this way.

I tried 6 plates after but failed. I think if I had better technique, and if I skipped 565 and went straight from 545 to 585 I would've had a better shot at it.

Yeah man, I think you would have got it! I'm going to switch to sumo as well. I feel more comfortable in sumo stance and I can stay upright better. .

Haha it felt a lot harder than it looked. The initial pull off the floor was HARD. But once it got moving it wasn't bad.

There's a good chance my back would break if I tried to pull that conventional lol.

Last year I was pulling around the same numbers both styles. However, my lower back has been tweeked so many times that heavy conventional pulling is like playing russian roulette.
