Beat the game last night. Epic game indeed. No game can drawn you into a character so much as this one. The voice acting..the facial emotion. It just keep pulling me in. I told myself before i get this game that i'll take my time beating it. But i just can't stop playing it, because the more i play the more i want to find out what happen. Everytime i die, i told myself that i'll put down the controller and turn it off and try again the next day....but big fucking nope. Gotta keep going lol. I didn't want the game to end even thought i know i'm close to it. Just like uncharted series. Is so good i didn't want that game to end as well. Naughty dog truly know how to make epic games. Can't wait to see what they can bring to the ps4.

Naughty dog is reason enough to buy a playstation, they make some amazing games. I'm only a couple hours in to this game but it's already awesome.

i'm slowly into it...the whole combat system reminds me a lot of a xbox launch game called "Condemned"....its pretty much the same when it limits your ammo, find wooden boards on the game...

^ God damn that game scared the shit out of me. I understand what you mean, except this is way better executed. I love using melee just to marvel at the character modelling and animation.

to be honest, uncharted was much more action, much more fun and puzzle related which this one didn't. i liked how they took the best of uncharted and put it into this one. the freaking cut scenes were just amazing.

i did more of the guns blazing but after a while i got used to bow and stealth so i don't go guns blazing no more.

you are right, condemned, hit man, and a bit of manhunt all mixed in.

just started this game...gonna take my sweet ass time (the entire summer) to play it through. I can't help but to check out every little corner of the game world before continuing on past a checkpoint.

Also I've been spoiled by PC graphics....the textures and jaggies compared to any modern PC title is laughable...may be it's because I havent played the levels with lush vegetations I still think Uncharted 3 is technically superior (dat sand physics ) I get the palette they are going for though.

Yeah from the screens and videos the game looks like crap.. but apparently the game is good enough to make up for it!

thats an old video; overall uncharted has more saturated colours and lush looking scenery
last of us takes the other route though its bleak/dark/grey when you are in a livelier area it looks just as good/better than uncharted

i prefer controlling Drake though running/jumping cant do that in last of us even when you're in a rush it seems like you're jogging but that fits in very well with the character imo

it's the demo which is practically the same as the final build
yeah I noticed the movements are sluggish and designed to be that way
i understand the characters don't have tactical training but it would be nice to have some sorta cover system
also I'm not a fan of the L2 button for sprinting...a bit unorthodox

This game was probably one of the best games I have ever played. Haven't felt emotionally involved in a story since Fable for the xbox one. Too bad the multiplayer feels like a tacked on gears of war clone. Oh well, EBGAMES took the game back from me for 55 bucks, so it was almost like I just rented it for a week, ahah.

Seriously loving this game; I limit myself to only playing between the time it's dark, until I SHOULD get to bed. It's all about atmosphere for me. I know it'll be a game I'll play again and again down the road.

Only gripe I've had is that after I met up with a couple of characters, I can no longer see my health, air(underwater), or the sprites for my shiv and bomb. It makes it annoying going into encounters as I have no idea whether I'm at 1/4 health, or full.

If you want to quickly see your health just press the directional pad and it will bring it up.

Best game hands down I've played in a long time. Like some have mentioned I haven't been emotionally involved in a game in a long time and as the game progressed I felt I was bonding with Ellie as if I was Joel. This is also the first time in years that I've replayed a campaign which for me says a lot.

Love the fact that you can't carry tons of shit but even on that note it was way too easy. The first go around I played on Normal difficulty and it was way too easy. I never once was close to running out of health, bullets, or just having any fear that I needed to conserve. In fact I didn't sneak away from a single enemy the entire game, I simply killed them all.

I was quite angry when the game ended though. I truely wanted more

I bought this game because of the hype. I don't normally play these kind of games, so I don't know how to fairly compare it. I can see why people like it, but I just find it a bit too slow for my liking. I'm not very far into it, so hopefully it picks up.

It definitely picks up and gets more interesting after the first hour or two.

I know that, it's just that the bar is black. No visual indication as to how much health I have, or don't have.

I'm currently playing in hard mode..
Only gripe I have with the game is the use of stealth.
It seems some what buggy.

I could choke someone RIGHT beside another guy and he would just stand there and derp around.

Random enemy would run pass by me even tho he saw me.

Not sure if it just me or if anyone feels the same.

the A.I also likes to walk behind you so you make sure you remember the quick turn around X and back on the joy stick......Resident evil style,yo.....thankfully ellie once & while chucks bottle at him then warns he's behind you.

and the bow & arrow seems way overpowered.....1 hit wonder weapon?...it saved my ass so many times when i was getting chased down a hallway and all i had to do was keep firing away while they were running at me in a straight line..too easy.

normal...make sure you hold the aim down long enough for it to pull back, then shoot...also i was aiming for the chest area.

just beat this game,People are saying there shouldn't be a part two,and just end it at this.

overall, another great game from naughtydog,i thought the uncharted series was good but this was really good too.....Everybody is wishing it was longer, even thou it taken like 14 hours to beat it.

yup, if you're stealth, bow works very well when enemies are unexpected. you can't use it on a armored person too much.

Of course the bow is going to kill if you hit the chest/head the hard part is aiming and releasing at the right time

I played on hard and had my bow modified so that probably helped

I felt it was more forgiving when you're in the cabin (wouldn't want to get anymore spoilery than that)
