2013 BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe makes its debut

2013 BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe makes its debut

Base on looks alone, would you choose the Mercedes CLS, The Audi A7, or the BMW?

Mercedes ruined the CLS with the current styling. I'd rather have the first gen CLS than the BMW, Audi or current CLS.

did the current 6 series just not sell well? Why they getting rid of the 2-door coupe?

I personally like CLS as it looks more bold and not as conventonal of a design as the A7 or the new 6 series

the rear profile makes it look even closer to its Maybach cousin

edit wtf my image hotlinking isn't working

Can't wait for the M6 gran coupe
The M5 is kicking ass, the M6 gran coupe should be just that much hotter

I love the BMW, but I wish they had taken a bit more risk with the design, there is nothing innovative about it. Look at the original CLS and A7, those cars are unique..thumbs up to MB and audi for pushing the envelope.

However, If I had the cash I would still choose the BMW for myself

I never really understood the point of the CLS, it's a cool looking car but why couldn't the E-Class have become that? Too modern? The 6 series GC above looks quite similar to a new 5 series, and is a similar size, identical drivetrain, etc... just seems to me that all it will do is scavenge 5 series buyers but what do I know?

CLS > A7 > 6GC

looks too boring they should of called it the 8 series gran coupe ( 2D and 4D versions) and went with a interesting design. This is a streched 6series nothing impressing.

Looks great! But judging the fact that the 650i coupe already cost around the same as a M5 in Hk. And the M6 will probably be priced in the Panamera Turbo S territory. This car just isn't worth it

these 4 door coupes are the future of automotive design. Obviously these are niche vehicles for consumers who want the styling flair of a coupe but the usefullness of a 4dr sedan. When you have kids, you can completely understand the purpose of these vehicles. Everyone seems to hate the X6 or ZDX, but guess what, these SUV coupes will continue to evolve. Look at the new RR evoque, love it or hate it, it is blurring the line between sedan and SUV

Remember when everyone thought SUVs were gay?
