Only issue with this is for those in both RS1 and RSX, that could mean as much as 2 hours in front of a computer depending on how long it takes ppl to draft.

IMPORTANT COMMISH NOTES BELOW

Initial draft time right now is on the Sat 11am PST for RS1........Sun 11am PST for RSX.....being what 3pm local time for Skinny?

So far I'm hearing a 50/50 split for keeping the draft time as is or moving it to evening weekday. Friday/Sat/Sun evening are no go as majority wouldn't be at home on a weekend evening. Personally I'm good with anything other than weekend evenings, this weekend day/afternoon I'll be hunkered in front of tv with laptop anyways for NFL playoffs, weekday mornings and evenings would work for me as well, I can draft from the office.

REMINDER: Those in the RS Keeper Pool, you MUST confirm your keeper player by this Friday, January 11th

Also some complaints last season on how goalies had too much importance, especially in a 18 team pool, some see it as not fair with some teams stuck with no good goalies, so if you didn't have 2 good goalies, you'd be screwed off the bat. We've already reduced goalie categories to 3 (W, GAA, SO), the next step could be only allowing 1 goalie roster spot per team. Thoughts?


RS Keeper: still need the following managers to renew by Thursday January 10th or lose their teams to new managers. Gary Oak, Invader, Bert you need to renew, multiple reminder emails have been sent via Yahoo, so far no response.


RS1: goo3, shawn79, Roach you must renew by Thursday January 10th or new managers will be slotted in. Email renews have been sent via Yahoo, so far no response.



Reminder PMs via Revscene have also been sent to all the managers that haven't responded yet except for shawn79 as I'm getting a message saying he cannot receive PMs.


RS2: Doesn't seem to be much interest in renewing as its a points league and not head to head, so far pretty low manager renewal rate

I think we decided last year that draft order in the keeper pool would be reversed order of finish or would you guys prefer random again this year? I will have to manually assign and edit draft positions after finalizing and confirming everyones keepers, those with less than 6 skaters 1 goalie will get extra draft picks.

Reverse order seems the most fair and NHL style!

I have to say random order is more fair. Why should last years winner be punished by getting the last pick? In the NHL, the winner wins the Stanley Cup, here the winner gets nothing. And this is coming from a guy if picking in reverse order picks 11th so I'm not really biased towards anybody.

Is there a waitlist for RSX?
I'd love one of the spots if any of the people don't return.
Also how would it work? Would I just take over their team and have to pick keepers from that?

RS1 League, everyone except for goo3 has renewed, with LSF22 taking shawn79's spot. goo3, last call, renew or lose your spot tomorrow.

I have to say, initially I was thinking reverse order of finish would be best, but you raise a really good point, winner gets nothing really, aside from RS bragging rights lol, so maybe random would be best. Also last year we had a few managers bascially give up after 2-3 months and not bother setting their rosters, similar to tanking.

Assuming Invader can get his yahoo account figured out, Bert and Gary Oak still have not responded and I will be giving away their teams to new managers tomorrow. The new manager will have to take over their team and pick keepers from that.
