you see a list on CNN when there were more candidates
other sites have even skipped ron paul when he was in 3rd and went straight to the #4
and considering there's only 4 candidates now... seems like a weak scape goat to stay "oh its just the top3"'

Survivor, the band behind the Grammy-winning Rocky III theme "Eye of the Tiger," are suing Newt Gingrich for using the tune at his recent campaign rallies. The suit, which was filed in Illinois federal court on behalf of Rude Music Inc – a company owned by the song's co-author, Frank Sullivan – claims that the Republican presidential hopeful used the tune without authorization. Sullivan is demanding an injunction to put a stop to Gingrich's use of "Eye of the Tiger" as entrance music.
Just a few days ago, Gingrich was hit with a separate cease and desist notice ordering him to stop using the Heavy's "How You Like Me Now?" on the campaign trail.
Gingrich is hardly the first Republican politician to be sued for using a hit song in a campaign rally. In recent years, Tom Petty and Katrina and the Waves sent Michele Bachmann a cease-and-desist letter last year, David Byrne sued Florida ex-governor Charlie Crist for using the Talking Heads song "Road to Nowhere," Don Henley filed papers against California senate candidate Chuck DeVore for using "Boys of Summer" and Jackson Browne filed a suit against John McCain for his use of "Running on Empty." None of these suits ever went to trial, and most were either settled or the politician agreed to drop the song.

My mistake. I always hear of these "politicians using music" thing, and never hear results. I always thought it was political posturing from the more left-leaning music industry.

Hilarous that 92% of gingrich twitter followers are fake and how he has to cancel campaign rallies because of such poor attendance. Yet he still gets more votes than RP where the rallies are so overpacked people are flowing out the building.

It will kill the "Mass.Moderate" argument in the main election and deliver the conservative vote.
When he's done 8 years with Romney, he'll be a name(hehe) and should be able to swing a presidential election for himself.
The whole thing is kind of scary given some of the shit that has come out of his mouth. He is a buttload(hehe) of bigoted, hard line statements.

I don't think it would make a difference in voting for these ppl. They all make promisess that they can't keep. Who was the last person that even did anything good for the conutry? Why did ppl vote for obama in the first place? Lower cost for gas?? We all wanted a change. But all ever happen after voting for obama is war, extreme high gas prices and limited freedom. This is true of pretty much all political races. It's more or less a popularity contest and then "See what I said? Well, I can't deliver."
The thing I like about RP more than any other politician is his honesty. Like that debate where someone asked if "Obamacare" would get repealed; he basically said "In theory, yes. In practice, probably not. But we can do whatever is possible to neuter it by moving almost everything to the state level."
That is and always has been his goal. Were I American, I would vote Ron Paul, and if he weren't an option, I would vote Democrat.

"Ron Paul is closer to a libertarian than anyone else who's close to running for a party that anyone might actually consider voting for."
When it comes to politics in the States break down to "Democrat V Republican"; no third-party candidate has come even close to being even close to a presidential contender. Yes, Gary Johnson is the Libertarian candidate for 2012, but...so what? He's not a republican. And they're the only ones conservative enough to care to vote for a libertarian.

It was never going to be McCain.
Obama kept his promises. He told everyone, "I'm a socialist." No one listened. We all knew they were going to take a run at universal health with a democrat controlled house and senate. Even with that mandate, they had to squeak it through. His problem was the economy. At a time that the economy needed all the attention, it was health that they were crafting and selling.
I maintain that he never intended to actually BE president. His senate career was "seat filler"-he crafted one piece of legislation that did nothing. He was a "community organizer" whatever that means. I think he initiated a presidential run to create a larger profile for himself. The problem was, he took off.
And honestly, if someone says to you, "you could be president", are you going to say, "shit man, I just wanted to pimp a few more books"

Fortunately, I don't see Romney choosing him as a running partner. Quote:

And honestly, if someone says to you, "you could be president", are you going to say, "shit man, I just wanted to pimp a few more books" | Obama began a presidency relatively free of the corrupting influences of lobbyists, for once America had a leader more concerned with enacting change than being re-elected. Everyone in America wanted to see the president focus exclusively on the economy, because that was the most immediate problem at hand at the time of his inauguration. America has countless problems aside from the economy though, Obama recognized that and refused to put on blinders. Health care desperately needed reform in America, Obama knew how hard it would be to push through American rhetoric and partisanship and recognized they were in the best position in recent history to do try. That attitude only earns my respect.
In the mean time, within months of Obama's election he began adding jobs to the economy and continues to do it at a steady rate. No leader could have added jobs at a substantially higher rate, not with how screwed up the American and world economy remains.
And he finally pulled the troops out of Irag..
Obama is a great leader and I believe he will be re-elected.
