If it is a long primary season do think Ron Paul hill be able to handle it? He is already working a lot less than the others.
Also many of his ideas are crazy.
His ideas are based on the constitution, and I think America did pretty well for themselves for a few hundred years...
The less government intervention on peoples' lives, the better, IMO. I don't see what's crazy about that, unless you are a lazy useless sack of shit. In that case, welfare and health care are pretty important!
If they don't want him in Washington, we could use a dose of his handy work right here in BC.
Hook him up with a little retirement home somewhere with an ocean view, and he can kick the shit out of our douche politicians that practically want to wipe my ass in case I don't get it done quite right.
Actually i'm sorry to say but no one takes as many vacation days as Obama.
Hi! In 2 seconds I was able to just pull this up...
—Prior to his current Martha’s Vineyard trip, Obama had taken 10 vacations of varying lengths — spanning all or part of 61 days.
—At the same point in George W. Bush’s presidency, he had made 26 visits to his Texas ranch spanning all or part of 180 days.
—At the same point in Bill Clinton’s presidency, he had taken two vacations on Martha’s Vineyard spanning 26 days and was starting a 21-day stay in Jackson Hole, Wyo.
This country is going down the shitter.. fast...
I agree that Ron Paul is the answer (I think... ) but I thought Obama was the answer a few years ago too...
He does seem to have sincerity in him.. I will vote for him, but I won't expect much..
I hope he wins, but I doubt he will..

I can't vote, but I'd be rooting for him nonetheless. I've been keeping up with this pretty much since day one.
Studying politics, you learn to predict all sorts of sleaziness you'd never even imagine. But like The7even said, he does have the hint of sincerity in him you don't often find in presidential candidates (especially since a few months down the campaign, everything becomes an obvious facade).
If I had the opportunity to vote, I'd cast my vote for him, not because of what people think he'll do or what he promises to do, but because he's able-minded--which couldn't be said for many leadership roles in democratic states. I mean, what more can you ask for in a democracy?
I wouldn't vote for him because he is the "answer". Everyone tells you he's the answer, but who honestly can wrap their head around one person being able to saddle a country with 15 trillion dollars worth of debt on his back?
Thanks for the correction. At the current time tho he should have the least vacation days taken for how much trouble we are in. Thats obviously not the case.

One of the other problems is Congress. Congress is funded by corporations, and candidates are too afraid to do anything cause they would lose their funding. Once corporations stop giving you funding, your campaign basically is done.

It actually doesn't matter who is president, like it doesn't matter who is mayor. The president is just one vote, the deciding vote, yet the last vote. Congress needs to be reformed first before Ron Paul could make any difference.
This decribes how congress has been bought and paid for years ago.
Here is the problem facing the United States right now. You could put Ron Paul in the white house, or Bachmann or anyone you want, and they can't do a damned thing to advance their agenda because if a republican is in the WH, then the Democrats will do anything to stop them while the R's cry foul. Then, the D's get their turn, the R's do the same thing, and the Dem's cry foul.
I've kinda been following this (embarrassingly more than our own politics) and from what I gather from various sources it's impossible for Ron Paul to win. Not because of ACTUAL PEOPLE VOTES but because of Vote Tampering. Yes folks it's true and been proven that vote tampering is a FACT in the United States. Ron Paul's views and outlook on the United States Government is exactly why he will get the Popular Vote from the people but will lose the election because the Corporations backing the United States War Machine will never let that happen.
I've been following Ron Paul for a while....hes become some kinda superhero on many internet forums amongst young people. I don't know why he's a conservative but his views seem very liberal to me.
He speaks the simple truth. Live and let live.
America has to stop playing big brother in everyone business.
