| Does Crystal Mall parkade have cameras? Got hit and run...
My car got hit and run last night parking there and I didn't get a chance to look around to see if the parkade had surveillance cameras. I park at that parkade once in a while and I don't think i've noticed any cameras before but can anyone here confirm if they do or not?
Tried calling crystall mall just now but the lady i spoke with didn't speak english well and just told me to call impark since they manage the parkade and impark customer service is closed today.

Crystal malls parking lot has more then enough room for cars to move around. There was never once where I felt it was a tight squeeze. You can probably have two cars side-by-side the entire way around.
As for your car, that really sucks ! But how did it happen ? Did the person clip you while pulling out or was your car too far out ? Either way, best of luck !

Here's a couple pics of the damage. Looks like someone hit my car while they were reversing. I doubt I will be able to find out who hit it so it looks like i'll be out $300 to pay for the deductible to get it fixed. Hoping now that I get a whole new rear bumper and not just a repaired one. |

I don't recall cameras inside the parking lot, I usually park on P2.

^ his mommy will pay for repairs so it's all good.... Yelnats you can pop that out easily, I've done it on my coupe LOTS of times... the rear bumpers on the G coupe are that plastic urethane mixture, so they very flexible....
I would personally pull up my sleeves, stick my hand down there pop the dent out, and buff out the scratches. If the paint is cracked however, I would just get a paint pen from the Nissan/Infiniti dealer (cost $11) and touch it up with the pen...
this will all take you no longer than 15 minutes and I guarantee no sweat will be broken....
OR you can pay ICBC $300 for what's really a minor fixable dent on a part of your car that is bound to more than just this one

sounds simple and easy =) and yeah.. $300 to ICBC sounds a bit too much for the minor hit

Ya i can pop it out but those white lines you see in the picture, they are not paint transfer marks from the other car, that's where the paint is cracking. I already own a touch up paint pen but those cracks are too bad to touch up with it. Also the bumper is misaligned where it meets the bottom of the headlight now. I'm not much of a diy guy when it comes to cars and i want the bumper looking like new again so even if it sucks to pay the deductible that's what i'm going to have to do.

maybe the ratio of unskilled drivers of Asian decent is higher due to the amount of new money showing up here in Vancouver in hopes of a better life... ?
race has nothing to do with driving skills.

race has nothing to do with driving skills. | he didnt mention a race he doesnt seem to take issue with asian drivers
he noted specifically chinese drivers
and i dare anyone to say that that isn't true, in regards to our local population, with a straight face

Yes they do have surveillance cameras on each level of the parking but they are only facing the office building entrances & the fire exits. So only if you parked in those stalls beside them you might get a chance.
