Maybe look into Los Cabos. We stayed there a couple years ago, way more relaxing than Cancun...but less things to do as well. But if you're into relaxing, it's nice and quiet there, very little partying. However, water is too dangerous to swim there. We stayed at the Barcelo and were pretty happy

and yeaa planning to party jersey shore styles til i get
I went to Oasis a couple years ago when i was younger with my family and I thought everything was pretty awesome, didn't notice the party scene tho since i was so young.

Some parts of the lobby/resort had this bad smell though that my family complained about.

anyone know the difference between the oasis and grand oasis in cancun?

Also anyone been to cancun in august? I'm planning to go at late august because its the only available time for me. Is it still crowded and does it rain a lot?

this past week in Cabo talking to a bunch of people who've lived and stayed all over mexico, the general consensus seems to be that the Oasis and Grand Oasis is a fucking dump compared to Barcelo etc. in Cancun

we stayed at the Royal Solaris in San Jose del cabo, San jose is the spot to be for a relaxing time imo opposed to San lucas which is about 20 minutes down the road, San jose downtown is 100% more chill

Went to Barcelo with a buddy. Was convenient in the case that it was right across from a mall with A/C and WIFI. They want you to pay for WIFI there but we found out you can log in with admin // admin . Also bus to downtown for clubs was like 1 minute walk, and 5 minute ride.

Food was pretty decent, and staff were friendly. Rooms were pretty nice too. Only shitty part was we met some hotties at the club and brought them back to the hotel, but staff bum rushed the entrance and wouldn't let us bring them inside. That was pretty bunk.

Oasis & Grand Oasis gets a lot of talk because they're pretty much the big party hotel in Cancun.

Grand Oasis is essentially a higher tier of Oasis. If you stay at Grand Oasis, you get a different wristband compared to the people that stay at Oasis. The Grand Oasis wristband gives you access to everything at both resorts.

Friend stayed at the Grand Oasis last year and recommended it to me. He said it's close enough to all the parties without you actually being around all the noise and drunks. You can head over to Oasis and party the day away and then head back to Grand Oasis and get a good nights rest without all the noise.

Planned a stay at the Barcelo, beside the Royal Solaris. I heard good things about the Royal too, more family oriented.

Any tips around San Jose?
