Wheels and tires came in from japan and mounted them on Friday. This morning (Saturday) I jacked the car up and lowered the rears to lessen the gap and also installed my high stands.
These pics don't have any of the changes, but I thought I'd share. Wheels are te37sl black edition wrapped in meaty tires.
Thanks all!! See you guys around, i try to make it to those boob meats every now and then.

I haven't had chance to push the car, but even in the rain it took more effort to break the rear end loose vs my old RE-11s with last setup. So far I like them and the response is great, but no track days on em yet so I don't know if they will get as greasy as the RE-11s. Ohh they are a lot more noisy than the RE-11s as well.

Your whole build thread on S2ki is amazing. Hands down, the nicest S2000 in BC.

started off with a gtr trunk/wing. trunk lip will go on after paint. still have moar parts coming in but i'll post how the car will look like once the "2013 latest pic of yo whip" thread comes around if i even can finish in time LOL

Vince I actually broke my tires loose in the rain in the R1R's.. may be due to oil on the road but they broke loose 3-4 times first session in the rain

the r1r is a great autox tire
but they dont really like heat, they can get really greasy as they heat up fast during the track day
one way to avoid them getting greasy fast is keeping tire pressures low, atleasts thats what i gathered before i set my mind on r888 instead of r1r
Damn that sucks...was it original clutch? Posted via RS Mobile
No, not the oem clutch. It uses stage 2 exedy ceremetallic clutch. It seems ok when we check it. Just need to tighten the clutch. lol Anyhow, I ordered a new stage 2 clutch in just in case what happen later on.
