just picked her up today after a week of comparing cars and getting an inspection done.

That would be the Eunos 800. Eunos 500 is quite a bit smaller. It sits right in between a 1.6EL and a 2.5TL

I believe Eunos 500 is just a Mazda Astina with luxury look, Astina was part of the Protege family back then.
