At least ive spent the time aiming them correctly, anyway heres a somewhat recent one from summer. http://i589.photobucket.com/albums/s.../firebird1.jpg |
Still in winter mode: http://a4.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot...72358881_n.jpg http://a8.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot...31906274_n.jpg Then i got a stupid squeak from my car. No matter what bump i go over, big or small; rear first or front first; uneven or not, it still squeaked! Brought it to speedsyndicate and curtis checked over the suspension. No problems at all! We just kept scratching our heads over it.. Turns out that a part of my fender liner got rubbed off and the fenderliner holds the bumper in place. The bumper was just bouncing everytime i went over a bump and it made the squeak.. http://a1.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot...83713399_n.jpg Several zipties later and the car was perfect again! :) |
^I coulda sworn i saw your car a few weeks ago with the enkei's |
^you did. I had it on for like 2 days. Haha |

there is no way to aim those without blinding people. Unless you put them in backwards. Even if you point them straight at the ground there will still be glare. And you will actually be losing light output, in which case halogen bulbs will be better than your HIDs. |

Also, see bold 1 and bold 2 :rukidding: Are they not in your low beams? Or do you drive without your lights on? |

I wish the fine was $1000 -or more- for having them. Maybe then people would stop buying them, and installing them into vehicles that they shouldn't. |
nothing says, "LOOK AT ME I HAVE A HUGE DICK", like driving a giant truck with stupid ass hids |
|
^ Do you have HID's? :troll: |

Aim them all you like, they're shinning straight into other drivers eyes. I don't see why people like you feel the need to have HIDs anyway, there are a lot of mature people driving around with halogen bulbs without issue. Quote:

In my opinion, I can see HID in a truck being more feasible than HID in a car. When I take my truck at night sometimes I'm in secluded areas or trails where HID would be nice. But, I respect other drivers on the road and don't want them to deal with it and be unsafe. Most people I know with HID are usually city drivers in well lit areas. |

My hatred towards HIDs in reflector housings is universal, because they create a annoying and often dangerous hazard for all other drivers on the road. Whether the HIDs are being used in an Integra with reflector housings or a Ram, my opinion is the same. A mature person should have enough common sense to not disrespect their fellow road users, especially considering HIDs aren't all that much more effective than good bulbs when not properly focused by a projector. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...r/850a746e.jpg The lowermainland city driving is 97% surrounded by lamp posts. There's no actual reason why you'd need them other than they make your old car look newer at night. Plus i hated how they reflected in the rain and puddles that's why I took mine out. HIDs are a dangerous and useless modification that has become far to prevalent. Any offender caught with HIDs in reflector housings should receive an automatic box two VI. Quote:

I mean I can think of a couple cars that came from the factory with HID's in reflector housings (Escalade, new Forester, Acura CL's and older TL's... etc), should those people get VIs too? I mean HID's in reflector housing will never be as good as projectors, that's almost a fact, although it can be done with minimal glare if the owner doesn't only put in the HID's and call it a day, but also modify the light shield until it's closest to the original cutoff. |
