Hate to say it.. but they really did.
Now it looks like an Elantra coupe.. mixed with a Crossfire and a.. Saturn Sky or something.
Give it a few months.. There's going to be so many new aftermarket kits due to the wide disapproval of the front end.
They really should've left the front as is, or gave it a couple subtle minor lifts at most.
Especially with the mean looking FRS and BRZ arriving in the same price range, the Genesis sales are going to go to shits. As much as I respect all the work Hyundai's done and their recent success, they really fucked the dog with this one. Other than if someone wanted a bit more comfort in their sports car, I don't see any reason to go with the Genesis..
But looks are subjective.. and to each their own..

that was initially my thought too, but how wrong i was. the 2013's are actually doing really well, especially in north america. the looks are love/hate for sure, no doubt about that, and i'm with you pn the front end opinion. but the interior went from great to excellent, and the rear was jist touched up slightly with new LED tails. both engines received extensive upgrades, and they started offering the RSpec (basically a barer bones package with all the luxuries removed, things like HID's, 10 speaker sound system, etc) but keeps all the performance things in, stiffer springs, brembos, factory front strut, etc. i'm also no fan of how they took away the GT from the 2.0, because before you could have both your technological things and your performance things, but now you get one or the other in a premium model or an rspec model, and if you want both you have to get a 3.8
i've seen a few locally on the streets already, as well as driven both, and though i'm still not a fan of the front end, i still think they did a good job with the second gen
Henry your car is lookin sick man! You should show off more pics of your rear though..i love your rear end because of your trunk lid spoiler. I love trunk spoilers..haha
My girlfriend's next period should be any day now, maybe I can drug her into letting me near her vagina. Apparently Nyquil fucks her up really good.
