They don't need to impress everyone, the production run is set to be very limited, I'm certain many people who traditionally would consider Lotuses or certain Porsches will now also be considering an NSX. GT-R buyers as well, because although it has a lower top speed, it's still fast and is a mid engine convertible.
The new model will sit on a heavily revised Accord platform
As annoying as 1exotics rants/bashing are..i think he's got a point here
judging from what honda's been making the last half decade...i'm not going to hold my breath for this car being an exotic killer like the original NSX and the R35 GT-R.
That's funny you think that because I don't. You got it wrong...
I never once spoke about it here other than post a few pics.
I only spoke of it responding to people asking about it, that's it.
You can't handle my opinion so you gotta start comparing my car? lol.

Hunh?
The orig NSX was never meant to be an "exotic killer." No car that was meant to "not have" specialty service to keep it maintained was designed to kill exotics.
Unlike exotics, Honda's designers aren't completely focusing top-end speed and performance because I doubt this car is marketed to the tweens (nor the young adults) that populate this board. Their target market is probably middle to older aged car enthusiasts who's price range is above the luxury class and exotic class.

aluminum chassis in the early 90's meant it could keep up with the ferrari 348 around the track
iirc not only until 2007 with the R8 was aluminum chassis seen again in road cars
i'll try to find a video that outline this excluding japanese propoganda...i mean best motoring
