i heard that rink is tiny... no room for fans to sit in the actual rink( sit upstairs ). i was told it feels "gross" there

wow I see people getting scheduled to play their second game at Burnaby Winter club..I'll be so choked If our team gets scheduled to play there again..That rink is not meant to be used for games

tiny players bench, tiny rink, tiny fan viewing area, no real penalty box, no glass, no scoreboard on the actual rink, shitty surface (puck does not glide at all), shared showers and washroom with all teams, place just looks ghetto overall.

I would think with the raise in price this year nobody would have to play in a shithole

The games should spread out better once the Vancouver rinks have their ice out in a couple of weeks. Late March and early April is a super early start for roller, ice seasons have barely finished

Our first game is at kensington on the thirteenth, slippery rink but w.e.

kensington is awesome.. a bit slippery but cannot complain when compared to burnaby lake. it sucks cuz theres no place for water bottles on the bench

no rinks in the lower mainland compare to the sportsplex :( oh how i'm going to miss it

No matter how shitty and old riley park was, their rink was pretty solid. Killarney is good too

Killarney is my favorite rink. Next would be Kensington.

Just FYI, but PICH is looking into putting in sportcourt for next season...something to think about.

might have to play there due its vihl using burnaby club and high prices.

wow! our second game just got scheduled at BWC again! what a joke..

PICH kind of did this merge with Coast as one of their organizers is now helping run PICH. At the captains meeting, sportcourt was brought up as a big possibility for next summer. Now, it's no secret PICH has gone downhill since VIHL started but they're wanting to clean up their act and start to deliver a better league starting this year.

The BWC rink sucks. Sarger604 is bang on with his description of the rink. Our next game is back there as well. I ran into Panchuk there last night, he said that they're only using BWC for 2 weeks until the other rinks open up so it's only temp, thank god. :lol
