Step 1: Buy cheap meats in large quantities. Those pork loins cost $1.88/lb at no-frills. The chicken was the same price. That's 30 lbs of meat sitting there. Beside the meat are two 5 lb boxes of blueberries ($10 each at nesters)
Step 2: Package up with tasty shit (in this case, rosemary, garlic, salt, olive oil). Each pack is good for about 2 days worth of meat. Toss in freezer and defrost as needed.
This thread has seriously been lacking. Been eating like shit, so decided to have a nice salad for dinner. I love Costco. Montreal smoked meat, roasted red peppers, blackberries, feta, cherry tomato's, and spinach. Fucking delish.
200g large eggshell pasta (cooked, drained, cooled under cold water)
about an 7-8" salmon filet cooked and crumbled
about 10-15 asparagus spears, cut into thirds on a bias (boiled, drained, cooled)
sauce:
1T mayo
squirt of sriracha
1T chopped parsley
1T minced shallot
salt, pepper, lemon juice
made quiche tonight
cant go wrong with bacon, eggs and pastry that you can eat cold on the run
picked up some deep dish tenderflake crusts, pre-baked them at 350 for 20 minutes with a weight to stop the crusts from rising, then another 10 minutes to brown
baked 500g of bacon in the oven also at 350 till it was cooked crispy, chopped it up
1 cup of diced red onion, sauted in butter
set all this stuff aside
combine
3 eggs,
1 cup milk
1/2 cup whipping cream
1/8 tsp nutmeg
tsp salt and pepper
1 cup grated cheese
arrange the bacon in the crusts,
add eggs/cheese/spices
add onion
bake in 350 oven for 1/2 hour
allow to cool before you cut into portions

Heres the Chili Ive been making. modified recipe. make sure you have a big ass pot
makes 8-9 servings
3.5 lbs extra lean ground beef
1-1.5 large chopped onion
2 large chopped green bell pepper (make bigger chunks)
2 large chopped red bell pepper (make bigger chunks)
1/3 cup chili powder
little less than 1/4 cup crushed chilis
2-3 cloves garlic, minced
1 rounded tablespoon ground cumin
1 chopped jalapeno pepper (partially de-seeded as i dont like super hot)
2 (28 ounce size) cans diced tomatoes
1 (23 ounce size) can Hunts thick and rich pasta sauce
2 (16 ounce size) cans kidney beans, drained and rinsed
salt and pepper to taste (my last batch i used no salt at all)
1-Fry up ground beef and onion (will take 2 pans)
2-Combine everything into extra large pot and stir well and bring to boil
3-Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer 1.5 hours. stirring occasionally.

too bad they don't sell those here (or if they did, they'd be stupid expensive)
soo good, i was watching the food network the other week and Wolfgang Puck tossed them on a stew he was making, I didn't see why it wouldn't work with chilli
