"Just because any car nut can tell you every possible performance specification of a Ferrari doesn't mean he can drive. Most of these people live in places where they've never even seen a Ferrari, much less ever owned one themselves."
i like the quote at the end; using the excessively skinny and perhaps even dangerous tires is fun not because they improve performance and decreases lap times, but because they strip away so much of the ability for the computer to control the vehicle they make the driver actually work. i think one of the few things car enthusiasts may universally agree upon is that the rise of computer controls in modern vehicles while increasing top speed and track times, decreases enjoyment of the vehicle when driving on the street.
imagine this is the next style after hellaflush.. LOL
unlikely, hellaflush is 100% only for 'show'. this is for driving fun.

and there it is. the eternal argument between having your computer give you fast lap times vs having fun driving the car yourself. enter the never ending GTR vs Z06/porsche debate. every single thread on here comparing 2 cars always has at least a handfull of guys saying "but car A is faster around the track than car B." regardless of if its GTR vs porsche, m3 vs rs4, mustang vs camaro, lambo vs ferrari, civic vs corolla or f150 vs ram lol.
