HELP !! lol.
So i ended up buying 5 guppies... 3 male and 2 females...
Everything seemed great during the first two days
On day 3... i noticed a wack load of frys... 
at 6pm on day 4... i found the two females....... DEAD !!!!!!!!!!
WTF is going on ????
should i buy more females?? or have a tank with males? I read online about males harassing the females to death.

Probably too much bio load. Separate the babies in another tank and do a large water change. Also its nice to have a test kit at home so that you can pinpoint the problem.

I will do a PH test tonight.
I did a 50% water change the other day too... the water seems alot more clear...
I actually never intended to breed or anything. I do not have a second tank nor do I want to invest anymore money into this new hobby of mine.. lol..
Is it ok to have 4 male guppies and 8 fry in a 12 gallon tank ???

Yeah sad about the fish ... but I think after some thought, 3 males probably harassed the shit out of the 2 girls so they got stressed out which leads to easily getting sick.
I would just leave the fish as it is for now.

I dont have a second tank to put all the frys in.... so........ i looked yesterday... there are only 2 left..
the water is still a bit murky but think its from the drift wood. I will try to remove it this weekend.

I've bred guppies in one tank with the parents before. If you have some java moss then should help the fry hide and feel more safe.
How old's your tank? 5 days only? Fish might have died because the there's not enough beneficial bacteria for the amount of fish you have. You can't rush "cycling" the tank properly. It's common n00b mistake. I made the same when I started. Should probably only have 2-3 fish for a 10 gallon for a few weeks.
If your water is brownish it's from the wood it usually isn't an issue. It will lower pH though.
If it's cloudy, it's likely a bacterial bloom due to the fact you have too many fish and not enough good bacteria. Tips for Cycling Your New Aquarium - The First Tank Guide - Getting Your Fish Tank Up and Running with Minimal Headaches

all my neons and rummy noses died due to icks  but all the new fish survived.

Im planning on redoing my whole 20 gallon long tank with plants, neons, and pygmy cories. Hoping everything will work with DIY c02 system.
Anyone here got a planted tank? Show some pics.

Anyone have any suggestions for some good beginner plants? I'm not planning on having a co2 system or anything, just a proper bulb.  | |

Java fern and moss are easy to grow with out c02. Why not try DIY c02, really easy to do. Guide - Advanced DIY CO2 or if you have a paint ball c02 can Paintball Co2 Injection DIY Setup with Tons of Photos | |
