feel like the batting cage is such a waste of space at sports central. :( |
Since Gold's Gym Richmond closed down...I need to get back to the Gym asap! I need to choose between Steve Nash Richmond or the Oval? |

From what Ive heard, its not for public use. For richmond softball or something |
the owner of SC is just trying to make as much cash as possible lol Office space is available for lease if you look at the front of the building he leases out the crossfit area he's now going to lease out the batting cages IIRC he also holds squash tournaments and I'm sure they pay good money to rent that as well lol The whole thin-dumbbell area is so cramped now |
Can anyone recommend me a gym with UNI-LATERAL machines? I wish gym websites would show a lot of detail of what type of equipment they have. |

Some of my friends have low income and pay like 17/month after tax. Lucky bastards :okay: |
Been slacking off lately. Gonna get back in it and hit up brentwood steve nash fitness world. Already a member, just wanna try a new location. Posted via RS Mobile |
YMCA Cost: $35 if you're still a student, $48.50 if you're not The gym itself is pretty decent, lots of benches and weights and an average amount of people. There are cardio programs and pools, sauna, that you might be interested in as well. With a membership pass, you can access to any ymca in Canada, and I'd say it's worth it. |
Couple friends got a membership at anytime fitness. Looks pretty nice $35 a month, just swipe ur card and you can hit the gym whenever. Anyone go there? Posted via RS Mobile |

Richmond Oval $42/month 2 year contract Youth still LOL There are usually a good amount of people lifting weights, but in the mornings the courts are empty, though sometimes there are some type groups that are there I don't know what they do never paid attention haha. Only bad thing is at night it's ALWAYS packed, the whole facility. Everyone comes after work I assumed. Also Drive takes up a lot of the courts around 4-6 for a while. |
Has anyone been to the new anytime fitness vancouver location on Cedar Cottage Mews? its new and I'm curious about their membership prices? |
went to try it out the other day with gf. everything is brand new! the free weights area is pretty small though and its really quiet right now. no proper bench tho |
just signed up at the newly-opened Anytime Fitness a couple days ago. everything is brand new they even have private showers they don't do drop-ins, and i believe there are 2 options: the 24-month & 12 month contract if you go for the 12mnth, it's ~$49+tax/month. the 24mnth is ~$39+tax/month if you're under 18, they give you a 10% discount. i get mine for ~$35+tax/month you also have to pay a one-time fee of $50 ($25 for activation or somethin like that, and the other $25 for the key) |
^^^ there's a new anytime fitness that just opened in surrey right around scottroad and 64th a couple of my friends go they got lucky and got there promo price free card and $35 a month fee. I'm looking into that gym might get a membership but I heard they have no bench press or a squat rack so Im thinking I might go to the YMCA in surrey but I'm going to walk in and check it out myself.
