Anyone know of a good personal trainer in Bby?
How is the gym at Bonsor? the new edmonds centre?

Anyone workout at Club 16 at Highgate or Steve Nash on Kingsway?

twitchyzero 10-08-2013 10:51 PM

+1
would like to know what Bonsor is like evening peak hours
im switching out from another rec centre but don't like contracts
sports central looks alright for the price but the review seems atricious online...rush hour bridge traffic is a dealbreaker and I cant work out in the morning (unless I get up at 5am)

Browsed through their site pics. the way they show off their elegant display of treadmills - scares me. Almost like a welcome sign for a certain population.

I hope i won't regret saying this, but i guess a 7 day free trial won't hurt

Just tried out steve nash cambie today. That place is a mess. And it was so hard to find. There's no signs or directions towards the gym inside the mall.

JSALES 11-19-2013 05:11 PM

Just recently started going to Steve Nash cambie for about a month now

d1 12-21-2013 08:04 PM

How much are you'd paying for Steve Nash? I've been offered $30 after tax for 20 months. Too pricey? I heard some people are paying $25/month

I pay $20 a month.

How are you guys getting these low rates? Are you guys students or are they just straight up offering these rates? Might have to change gyms if they increased my membership at the Y this year. If I switched to fitness world it would be to the one in Langley.

Gym at home.
Cant stand people at the gym : pick any steriotype youtube video that are all true.

knight604 01-02-2014 08:48 PM

I love how people think they will start going gym after making a new years but after a few weeks , they will be too lazy to go.

Can't wait for them to get the fuck out.

Matlock 01-02-2014 09:35 PM

New years resolution: quit gym, lift at home.

I left that gym for sports central lol.

2 bench presses, 1 rack, 2 smith machines + central location =

I am at Steve Nash on scott road on the delta side.. anyone else there.. Place is a piece.. During the peak hours the place stinks and is crowded as FUARKKKK!.. NO incline or Decline bench and only 1 squat rack.. My contract is up in about a month so I might be looking elsewhere.. the beauty of that gym is that it is literally 30 seconds from my house.. I hate having to drive for like 10 minutes just to get to the gym.. anything around that area that you guys would recommend me check out?

JSALES 01-03-2014 03:49 PM

so many fucking people in the gym now, apparently steve nash cambie had 50 people sign up

Alpine50 01-04-2014 01:24 AM

Damn so the one time I'm down for the gym on a Saturday night rather than spending my cash at the club the gyms closed at 9...... So I googled every gym within the surrey/Langley area and all gyms on Weekends are open tops till 9? Is the only real place left to go anytime fitness?

Go to SN surrey central its 10000x better than the shithole delta branch :nyan:

PinkMuffin 02-18-2014 09:22 PM

Sports central!
paid 199$ for the 1 year plan.
Don't like the rusty weights. I've actually never really worked out in the open side. I feel like I'd be in the way for some guys..(hence I am a tiny girl)
I used to go YMCA, and that was around 35$ a month. I think they raised the price now. Small place, but for that price, you get fairly new equipments, swimming which includes sauna and steam. Oh plus, its close to skytrain station. The parking lot is quite small too LOL.
