Police detective Michael Britten regains consciousness following a car accident involving his wife Hannah and his son Rex.
Michael moves back and forth between two realities: in one, Rex survived while Hannah is dead; in the other, Hannah survived but Rex did not.
Trying to keep both his loved ones alive, Michael starts living a "double life," moving back and forth between the two realities, dealing with different personal conflicts and police partners. He also starts noticing strange links between the two realities.
This series is set to begin next month and looks awesome. It's based on the principle of Quantum Immortality and hopefully has a decent run.
I predict, however, a show this complex on a network will struggle to find it's place. Shows like "Hart of Dixie", "Ringer" and the remake of "La Femme Nikita" are just simple enough for people who can't afford cable to watch better shows on HBO, Snowtime, or AMC.
