Isn't there one in Abbotsford, too?

I think one in Port Coquitlam too?

Don't know the answer to these but if you've tried Lee's before, let us know how you liked it vs KFC and Churches.

There used to be one near metrotown on kingsway, but they closed a while ago :okay:
churches > Lee's > kfc

Yes there is one in Abbotsford

fliptuner 01-26-2012 05:44 PM

I just had Lee's yesterday. I only get the spicy/crispy. Some may thing there's a bit too much batter but I think it's ok. The texture is really good, as is the flavour. Pricing is good too at $5 tax in for 2pc leg/thigh, fries and gravy. If you've never been there, definately try the onion nuggets. Oh yeah, i went to the one in PoCo - it's on the NE cor. of Prairie and Coast Meridian.

I loves me my Church's but only when it's really fresh.

BTW anyone find it ironic that most Lee's are run by Koreans? On another note, Lee's was founded by Col. Sander's nephew, Lee Cummings.

Although, their designs don't look as good as the other ones I seen.... :accepted:

anyone check out todays groupon at Mac Shack?

Gumby 02-21-2012 09:02 AM

I find the Mac Shack overpriced. So today's Groupon makes it more reasonably priced.

Edit: Damn it, I had a chance to buy it this morning, but now that I want to buy a $20 for $10 voucher, it's sold out.

UnDeadMage 02-21-2012 09:58 AM

wow mac shack 10 for 20 already sold out

InvisibleSoul 02-21-2012 10:53 AM

Wow, looks like I got in on it just in time! I've heard of the Mac Shack, and haven't tried it yet, so I decided to get a couple Groupons. Got them just before 9:30am.

Gnomes 04-22-2012 07:24 AM

^Yes, it is too good to be true. According to RFD detectives, it is not a scam but a smart marketing ploy. Overpriced product, minimum number of item needs to be bought, conflicted opinion on quality of meat you receive.

Majestic12 04-22-2012 07:25 AM

It is. If it's the same as they've offered before, you have to pay a huge shipping charge on top. Then, the gift certs you get are like, 4x$50. You can only use one coupon per order, and if you check out their website, each box of meat is like 80-something or 90-something bucks, so you're still paying quite a bit.

I looked into it last time they posted... so I'm not sure if it's the same deal as they offered last time, but if it is, not really worth it.

InvisibleSoul 09-12-2012 11:48 AM

$7 for $10 worth of food and drink plus 1 regular size poutine at Church’s Chicken (Value $14)
