I just had Lee's yesterday. I only get the spicy/crispy. Some may thing there's a bit too much batter but I think it's ok. The texture is really good, as is the flavour. Pricing is good too at $5 tax in for 2pc leg/thigh, fries and gravy. If you've never been there, definately try the onion nuggets. Oh yeah, i went to the one in PoCo - it's on the NE cor. of Prairie and Coast Meridian. I loves me my Church's but only when it's really fresh. BTW anyone find it ironic that most Lee's are run by Koreans? On another note, Lee's was founded by Col. Sander's nephew, Lee Cummings. |
I remember there was a bunch of you guys asking about those flowers that 'last forever'. There's a deal going on right now: $9 for a Valentines Preserved Rose in a Clear Box (choose from 8 colours, reg $25) from Piccini Silver, DIA & I | The Red Pocket – Vancouver Daily Deals Although, their designs don't look as good as the other ones I seen.... :accepted: |

subscribed! anyone check out todays groupon at Mac Shack? |
I find the Mac Shack overpriced. So today's Groupon makes it more reasonably priced. Edit: Damn it, I had a chance to buy it this morning, but now that I want to buy a $20 for $10 voucher, it's sold out. |
wow mac shack 10 for 20 already sold out |
Wow, looks like I got in on it just in time! I've heard of the Mac Shack, and haven't tried it yet, so I decided to get a couple Groupons. Got them just before 9:30am. :fuckyea: |

The Best Daily Deals in Vancouver - Gourmet Secrets - $25 for $200 of Beef, Chicken, and Seafood Seems too good to be true :suspicious: |

^Yes, it is too good to be true. According to RFD detectives, it is not a scam but a smart marketing ploy. Overpriced product, minimum number of item needs to be bought, conflicted opinion on quality of meat you receive. "Gourmet Secrets": New butcher scam? - RedFlagDeals.com Forums |
It is. If it's the same as they've offered before, you have to pay a huge shipping charge on top. Then, the gift certs you get are like, 4x$50. You can only use one coupon per order, and if you check out their website, each box of meat is like 80-something or 90-something bucks, so you're still paying quite a bit. I looked into it last time they posted... so I'm not sure if it's the same deal as they offered last time, but if it is, not really worth it. |
