Will this affect my insurance?

So, my dad apparently did not submit or do some testing to check if hes still capable of driving so ICBC took away his license now, the car's insurance is under his name and I drive the car occasionally when he doesn't need it. Wondering will the insurance be affected since he no longer has a license?

if YOU are the principle driver. NO it will not have any impact.
Otherwise, YES, most likely

I'm not sure how it works mid-policy but he won't be able to renew when it's up

If you get into an accident in a car with his insurance, he's the principle driver, and he doesn't even have a license, it will be an uphill battle trying to convince ICBC to cover you.

Personally, I would cancel the insurance and renew it under your name. Since your dad technically/legally cannot even drive then he does not need a vehicle under his name. Your dad does not drive so that makes you the principle driver(who drives most of the time, since your dad drives 0% of the time).
If you were to get into a car accident, your insurance will become VOID and ICBC has the choice to refuse to cover your claim; therefore everything will come out of your pocket. Also they will charge you with fraud and impose a penalty.
