Personally, I would cancel the insurance and renew it under your name. Since your dad technically/legally cannot even drive then he does not need a vehicle under his name. Your dad does not drive so that makes you the principle driver(who drives most of the time, since your dad drives 0% of the time).
If you were to get into a car accident, your insurance will become VOID and ICBC has the choice to refuse to cover your claim; therefore everything will come out of your pocket. Also they will charge you with fraud and impose a penalty. Ruthless & Associates Inc.
