Where do you guys get your electronic device piece parts?

So my Samsung LCD monitor just ate shit today and I'd like to have a go at trying to repair it rather than hucking a once-$250 monitor.

I've isolated the problem, well.. it kind of jumped out at me..

Anyway. Can someone recommend a place to pick up piece parts (in this case a "qgah02113" inverter)? I can probably get the part off ebay, but if I can find one for local faster, and someone who's got good soldering equipment, that would be way better than me hacking up the board more than it is now.

Thanks!

Active is closed. Try Digikey if you can't find it locally.

Thanks guys, I checked all 3 of those on your suggestions, but nothing popped up for me for the part itself or what the wonderus google tells me is an equivalent part lol.

get a new monitor. samsung monitors are known to have troubles in the long run (mainly the backlight problem) like twitchyzero said, TN panels are pretty cheap nowadays, ranging from ~100 to 200ish

there's a few shops on around main street and 31st. Main Street Electronics I think it's called, if you can't find what you're looking for there's another shop beside it, forgot what it's called though

^I think you are referring to Lee's, which someone posted earlier, there's a shop one block from there called Japan Electronics (I think).
