Congratz! Justice has been served. Really great to see Revscene, regardless of its countless trollings/flamings/and seeming hostility at times, get together and do something to RIGHT an extreme WRONG. Enjoy, belaud!
This just made my night. Even though it took forever, and far too much of your time... at least they made it right, and you got the car you deserved in the first place.
i'm glad OP's response to richmond subaru's was with the result of
now richmond subaru is and RS is
i wonder how richmond's subaru's fb page is going to look now...they'll probably spin it like they really care about customers and did it 100% to the customer's satisfaction

i just hope they learnt something from their mistake rather than trying to "get out of this situation" and just commit the same incident over in the future..
I worked as a lotboy a few years ago for a vw dealership and I did the same thing to a new gti.I was only following orders from the shithead service manager who was too cheap to take it to a professional detailer.Instead blamed me for rubbing the cut polish too hard.Yeah that's right made me use cut polish on the surface of a new car the customer complained had spots all over it the day after he took delivery on it.The car did get professionally detailed after the screw up but it still looked ugly in some spots under the light.Anyway to make a long story short don't blame the lotboy he's only following orders from the shitheads up front.

The power of collectivism and social media combined can really move mountains! I'm very happy to hear they fully rectified the issue. Congratulations and enjoy the new car! =D

Congrats OP!
I don't care if it's raining, snowing, hailing or what on Thursday....but make sure it's delivered to you in pristine condition, indoor. (Off-topic...but Richmond Subaru not have a Delivery spot/garage?) Check each and every single inch of the car before signing ANY documents.
Spoiler!
Then when you're all done give the Legacy's keys back to them
"Here's the key, I don't want to ever see your face again!"
glad to see a positive resolution. and look at the bright side - swirls won't show up as well on white paint so it'll be a lot more headache free for you in the future too. happy for you OP!
i'd laugh my ass of if ctv picked up the story now, lol.
i really feel like we all worked together as a family, congrats everyone!
i also wrote on the google search "thank you Subaru Canada for correcting Richmond Subaru's mess. I'd buy a subi any day of the week now =D. Unfortinatally, my one star rating most remain for the Richmond branch of Subaru."
Be nice, do what is expected of you, and don't be an extreme douche. Follow those things in life and you will avoid trouble; something I hope Richmond Subaru has learned.
