| Samsung Galaxy Tab 7/7.7
Sooo anyone else get this bad boy?
picked up a Galaxy Tab 7.7
pretty good smaller than the 10.1/8.9 better spec'd (or similarly) Samsung P6800 Galaxy Tab 7.7 - Full phone specifications
I'm liking it especially the super amoled screen. it's big enough to use as a main media device and small enough to be portable.

Actually this was on my list to buy as soon as it was available. However I eventually went the Transformer Prime route instead.

I also considered the prime, but as i already had the tf101 i decided on the 7.7
ICS just dropped for the first one so that makes it a new toy LOL again

once you see and try the 7.7, you will never want the 7.0
and for 7.7, sure the spec and size are awesome, but compare with Galaxy Notes which you can put in your pocket, and Galaxy 8.9 which also can hold it with one hand with bigger screen. Then you will think buying a 7.7 is a stupid idea.
That's one main reason I spent $150 more on Asus Transformer Prime (with keyboard).

i have the tab 7 (p1000), currently on my third note, have the tf101 and the sl101 and did own the tab 10.1(gave to sister) and the 8.9 (worse size of the lot IME) which i got rid off after a week.
specwise the 7inch p6000 sucks bunghole do not even consider buying this POS
but the 7.7 (p6800) im finding is the best "in between" tablet size atm.
mind you im happy with the tf101 especially with the improvements in the new ICS update and i like the prime which ill probably pick one up when it goes back instock but im more excited to see what nvidia does for next gen processor, especially with the new snapdragon and TI omap processors killing it with half the processor speed while doing twice the work.

That video is comparing ICS to Gingerbread though so it's not exactly a fair comparison since ICS has a huge number of optimizations.

bought the 7.7 couple weeks back. found myself using it a lot more than i thought I would have, especially after coming from the 10.1/transformer. The portability makes a HUGE difference, i can pretty much bring it anywhere with me. The only let down thus far is probably honeycomb. Samsung really needs to push ics onto all their devices asap.
@mk1freak, so you replaced your Note with the 7.7?

@jeff19
still got the note, planning on selling it and using the 7.7 as main device, IMHO for the stuff i do its a way better device.
the note is great but with the work related stuff i do its so much easier on the 7.7 so much more easier than the transformer (even with a dock)

@mk1freak, so you replaced your Note with the 7.7? | It'll be quite some time. None of Samsung's devices have been officially upgraded to ICS yet sadly.
With the exception of the nexus
