Stolen riding jacket and 2 pc suit Some time between last night and today, someone/person broke into my storage locker and stole my old riding gear. Spyke leather jacket in black with yellow and silver trim. Size 52 in near new condition. 2 piece Teknic leather suit that zips at the waist in Yamaha R6 blue and white and some black with black knee pucks. Has a broken zipper on the pants. If you see these posted on CL or online somewhere, please let me know. I will also be posting this on BCSB tomorrow. |
ouch, sorry to hear about that. DO you think it is someone from within your complex? Are your storage lockers in a locked room? |
Yeah, most likely stolen by someone in the building. You need a fob to get access to the room with the storage lockers. At this point, I don't care about the suit or jacket since they are 10 years old and I don't ride anymore, but I am more concerned that some low life in my building is doing this. They avoided the elevators since that is the only place with security cameras. |
damn...sorry to hear, i'll keep my eye out |
the building's security system should record which fobs accessed the storage at what times. |
Yes they do and that was checked. As it turns out, there was a unit that was for sale and the realtor lady had the keys in a lock box. Someone came by and broke into the lock box which gave them access to the building. The stupid part was that the realtor lady knew the keys were stolen and did not say anything to anyone from the strata or building manager. The scum bag broke into the amenity room, some of the lockers in both buildings, and bike storeage, and possibly the unit that is for sale. The guy wore a hoodie to hide his face from the cameras in the elevator but did not cover up his face when he used the fob to get into the building. Too bad, but so far no idea who this guy is. I've gone and triple locked my locker but still not that safe as they can cut the fence to get into the locker, but it is better than nothing. |
