The Transformer Pad 300 is the latest addition to the ASUS tablet range. Spode takes an exclusive look at the new design, which is available in red, white and blue.
Only care if it has the next gen Tegra, 4G, and lighter
EDIT, it seems like a 7-8" screen, dual core tablet
It's still Tegra 3 and is a little heavier (635g vs TF201's 585g) but has 4G and is still a 10.1".

Asus Transformer Pad 300 is 9.9mm thick (263 x 180.8 x 9.9 mm) and weighs 635 grams. The new Asus tablet is available in three body colors: red, navy blue and white.
The tablet features a 10.1-inch IPS touchscreen display with 1280 x 800 resolution. Asus Transformer Pad 300 comes with two cameras: an 8MP one on the back of the tablet and a front-facing 1.2MP one.
Transformer Pad 300 is equipped with a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor and is running on Android Ice Cream Sandwich. It has 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (expandable with up to 32GB via the microSD card slot). Asus Transformer Pad 300 features a 4G LTE chip.
As about the battery life of the freshly-launched tablet, the Asian company reported that the battery can keep the device awake for up to 10 hours and up to 15 hours while using the docking station.
The price and the release date of Asus Transformer Pad 300 were not revealed, but we expect it to be priced around $400.

Tf300 isn't meant to replace the prime. It's a cost down version with less internal storage and no super ips screen. Just regular ips. Expect it to be around $100 cheaper than the prime.
