I skipped the first AC too. I played AC2 and AC:B, not AC:R yet. Still cleaning up AC:B with the sidequests, I find the plot pretty interesting. Especially when you try to get Full Sync, you really got to be strategic and creative in ACB.

the gold edition gives you the season pass for all the story based and multiplayer contents

and PSN will give you $20 back if you spend anything over $100..

its a good deal.. although id rather have the physical copy for collecting but i guess i can buy that next year when the game is cheaper
