Some more details

"Denny's is celebrating 45 years and Canada and you are invited to the party! Join us at any of our participating locations on January 20th between 7am-2pm for $1.99 Original Grand Slams. Partial proceeds from each sale will be donated to Corus Feeds Kids! See you there!"

What's in an ORIGINAL slam?
Slams
"Just ask your server for the Original Grand SlamŽ and get two buttermilk pancakes, two eggs,* two bacon strips and two sausage links"
Seems like a fair deal

Dozen large size eggs are two for three bucks at Safeway. The ones I got at the Commercial location were more like X Large, and they were prepared for frugal Asians, as there must have been 20+ cases on the floor in front of dairy cooler. Not sure if it's a weekly deal or a three day deal.

This week at Safeway, milk is (2) two litre milk for 4 bucks. That's a buck a litre. I just wish they do the choco milk for that price. They used to, not that long ago.

So, skim, 1%, 2% and whole milk (okay, homo milk, lol).

choco

Not as big a deal as if it were a Superstore, but Home Hardware is having a No Tax sale. It started yesterday and goes for one more day.

I like supporting the little places like Magnet Hardware on The Drive. They have all kinds of weird stuff there. I bought a Sperry Instruments Shock Stop II GFCI tester there the other day. You can't find it anywhere else here or in Bellingham.
