I've had Prime now for a month, thanks to people on RS. I must admit, I have not had time to watch anything on Prime Video. Just taking advantage of free shipping and some of the deals. You'd figure that with retirement, one would have a shitload of time on their hands. Working most of my life, I finally have time to do the things I've always wanted to do. Plus, I have enough hobbies and interests to last three lifetimes.

Maybe binge watch entire collection of the Matlock series.............. 'cause that's what seniors do, gulolol.

As one of my former coworkers used to say, "Now that I'm retired, I don't know how I had time for a job."

Don't think there's such thing as a cheap air conditioner.
But Costco has them and they sell out quick

$4.77/lb @ Walmart right now too.

If you don’t have the flipp app already I suggest you frugal shoppers check it out. Perfect for hunting down deals like this. Anytime I’m craving something specific I search the app to find where it’s on sale and head there

^ whenever prime rib hits a certain price point, it is like a zoo, people line up before store opens, they run out. Not worth it.

Sweet price point seems to be somewhere in the $6.50 range/lb, there is actually stock and good selection.

Lee Valley Tools has their spring savings card event on right now. April 6th to 22nd. Anytime you buy something, they give you a ten dollar off a fifty dollar purchase card. The card is valid for the month of May. You can't combine them, but when their shit never goes on sale, except for special buys, it's a good deal. I purchased two $1000.00 gift cards on Cyber Monday at 15% off, so using that to pay for stuff in May and then using the 10 dollars off card, it ends up being a pretty good deal.

- Lee Valley Tools

Can't use it towards Festool or Sawstop equipment........... not that I can afford or justify buying that stuff.

7-Eleven Big Gulp is 89 cents all summer long. Watered down fountain drinks, but it’s okay until McDonald’s dollar drink days start.

lilaznviper 05-06-2018 05:07 PM
