Took some pens and scotch from work to use at home......

MG1 07-10-2018 06:07 PM

It's one thing to be frugal, but one must draw the line between that and outright stealing.

That's just me. Not trying to judge............ okay........ maybe just a little.

Back on track..........

Lindt Chocolate 40% off entire store.......... then it says in fine print, exclusions apply, lol.

Today is 7-Eleven Day.

Free Slurpee. Small, but free nonetheless.

MG1 07-12-2018 02:04 AM

Friday, the 13th........... only a thing with christians, but it's also National Fry Day.

At McDonald's you get free fries with any purchase. Combined with Dollar Drink Days, it's a win, win.................

https://www.mcdonalds.com/ca/en-ca/p...a:mofreefries:

Just an FYI. McD fries last forever. It's always a favourite science fair topic for kids. If someone is stuck in their car due to a nasty accident with no rescue in sight for days, look around in between the seats of your car and live off the fries that you find, lol........ yummy (random thought, lol).

mk1freak 07-15-2018 06:51 PM

hoping prime day doesn't disappoint this year (as usual)

I am sure a lot of us do that as well maybe not intentionally but still. Found out the girls living next to my apartment is still using my Wifi. They move in last month but haven't setup their internet yet and ask if I could let them use the WiFi while they call an ISP. Anyways I didn't think too much since my data cap is like 5TB. Randomly login to my router to setup some port forwarding and notice they still connected to my WiFi. Not sure if I should just change the Wifi password/talk to them/or just let it be...

If you login to your router admin settings, you can kick them off or block their MAC address

I know I could but I am not sure if I should lol. They are pretty nice girls. Not my type (way too young) maybe I should ask them first...

MG1 07-15-2018 08:49 PM

What's with RS these days............ not that long ago, there would have been at least ten replies with, "Pics or didn't happen," gulolow.

Maybe, just maybe, RS has matured a bit........... :okay:

Teriyaki 07-15-2018 11:08 PM

Pics or didn't happen.

And all is right with the world again.

mk1freak 07-16-2018 01:13 AM

You should enable network logs on your router and review what sites they visit and make a decision then, did this for a tenant and ended up cutting them off.

Not to be used for any nefarious purposes :lawl:
Spoiler!

Who pays for my lifetime supply of insulin and quadruple bypass after?

MG1 07-27-2018 10:10 AM

LOL, I guess not many people came to the Lint stores. They're extending the sale for a another day. Fucking things will melt as soon as you leave the premises.

Unless you have a cooler.

TouringTeg 07-27-2018 02:24 PM

I would be so fat if there was Krispy Kreme in Victoria. Once in a while they are available at Costco or other places as a charity drive.

Oh damn, is that why I saw so many people walking around with boxes of dozens.

racerman88 07-27-2018 07:47 PM

It was a lot busier this year b/c there was more advertising.

What's with Christmas in July sales?

Even Lego has jumped on board (ends tonight)........ plus, free shipping on orders of $35 or more. That'll be just about everything they sell, lol.

https://shop.lego.com/en-CA/Sales-An...&RRID=36938487

Not sure if it's for VIP members only, though. I became a member because I purchased a couple of Mindstorm kits as gifts a few years back.
