August 2nd is free ice cream day at Marble Slab Creamery from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. Only for BCAA members. That’s why I didn’t post it in the Invisible Soul’s Freebies thread. Anyway, it’s good shit. |
I saw WM flyer on RFD and corn is 13cents! Got excited, i love corn. Then realized location was set to Toronto. Changed to Vancouver, flyer looks exactly same except corn is now 39cents.... WTF!!!!!!! I've seen some cherries advertised cheaper per pound at RCSS or WM in Toronto then here, even though they are BC grown... Seriously????? |

Halloween chocolates at Costco. $8.00 off, making it $11.99 for 120 Nestle chocolates (Smarties, Aero, Coffee Crisp, Kit Kat). That’s ten cents each. I saw them at the Willingdon Costco. Fucking hell, I got the same thing for $4.00 off a couple of weeks ago. Well, gonna go see the folks at the return desk. No receipts or product needed. Just my membership card. I love Costco for ease of returns and price adjustments. I can even return stuff I’ve purchased in the US. |
Confessions of a Frugal Shopper For those who don’t have a Costco card, Walmart has the same box ( Kit Kat, coffee crisp )in 100 count for $9.98. I went to No Frills for a price match since I was closer at the time Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Looking for tires? I needed winters for my Outlander. Canadian Tire has a three day sale right now on tires. 30X CT money, 24 month no interest, equal payment plan. Plus, they give you any manufacturers rebates at point of sale. No need to mail in anything. I purchased Michelin X ice i3’s and got 12% in CT money. Digital, of course. Six months ago, I purchased a Dyson when it was $100.00 off, plus 30X CT money, and no interest 24 equal payment plan. |
Speaking of Canadian Tire, they're also selling Sports Check and Mark's Warehouse gift cards at 15%. Not too bad if you time it right with the Sports Chek Friends and Family sale; nets your essentially 40% off. |
I want to order from ua and sport Chek online, anyone got coupons to share? Pm please. Thanks |

Anyone know of any good gift card promos around this time of year? Here are some that I came across: White Spot - $50 and get $10. Boathouse - $100 and get $20. |
My Escort 9500ix died on the way to Bellingham about 80 or so days ago. I was about to look for a radar detector when I saw one that day at Costco. 299.99 USD. Not bad, I thought to myself. Yesterday, I was at the same Costco when I saw it on sale for 249.99. I was like, what???? I go talk to customer service and they tell me that I need the receipt. Not only that, if it was purchased 30 days or more ago, it’s a no go. Goddamnit, I thought to myself. Then this big bald guy says, “Just Buy one and return it today. You’ll get the lower price.” Anyway, long story short, it worked! It was like returning the old one at full price and getting the lower priced one. The radar detector was an Escort/Passport iX. |

If you bought one on the spot then you'd purchase one at get a receipt for one at $249.99 How would you be able to return it at $299.99 even if you had the original receipt, since you mentioned that its a no go if over 30 days??? |
