I don't use it often, but having a Bay Mastercard comes in handy. I bought a Dyson vac that was $100.00 off from manufacturer, plus an additional 25% off by using the Bay card. It was like all the planets lined up that week. My Dyson Hot/Cold purifier was $100.00 off via manufacturer promo. Cambodian Tire also gave 50X points on that model. Score!! Bed Bath and Beyond 20% off coupon doesn't work on all items. The small print has a list of products that the coupons cannot be applied to. Dyson is one of them. Same as Michael's. There's a list of items they won't allow the coupons to be applied to. If you have a friend who is a teacher, they get a further 15% off of regular, sale, and clearance prices. But, you cannot stack the offer with their usual coupons. Frames go on sale often. Wait till they go on for 40% off, then apply a further 15% off. That's 55% off. That's on all the frames in the series that are on sale, so not just one freaking item.................. "Let that settle in...........all the items you buy." A la Canon Mega Tank printer ad, lol.

A reminder to all you young sportscasters out there, when you get a chance to use the word brouhaha, you take it!"-Don Taylor

Mark's 30% Off Storewide Sale, is on again! There's a save $10 on purchases of $50 coupon on their local newspaper flyer. I'm pretty sure that can be stacked. I'm going later on today to try it. I'll let you cats know. Gonna get further discount by using my Cambodian Tire, Triangle World Elite Mastercard. 4% cash back.

EDIT: Just double checked the flyer. The dates are good. I also noticed a buy $125, get $35 coupon, but it's dated between October 15 and November 4th.

When I got the local paper last night, I noticed it was super thick. Chock-full of ads. Then I realized why. Black Friday and Cyber Monday is coming up. They want to beat the sales............ get you to spend now. I have to be careful not to overspend. Gotta save up for my Lee Valley Tools 20% off gift cards. You know, that place that sells over-priced, useless stuff to yuppies, gulolol. I don't know who said it, but it always gives me a good chuckle.

tiger_handheld 09-28-2019 07:39 AM

i already have a BF / CM list going on.... is it me or the older we get, the household stuff we buy? (ie. i have pillow cases, shower curtains, Furbo's, etc on my list)

Has anyone purchased a Superstore giftcard from Shoppers to get Bonus PC Points?
Does this work?
Does Shoppers sell superstore gift cards?

current Shopper Promo: 20,000 points when spent $50.

jing 10-05-2019 08:48 AM

^ Gift cards are excluded.

MG1 10-10-2019 05:20 PM

If you have and use your PC World Elite Mastercard, you get 3% back in PC Optimum Points when buying any gift card at Superstore. At least the last time I checked. Not much, but better than nothing.

Got 10% by joining mailing lists. Plus greatecanadian rebates and rakuten has 3.5,2.5 cash back

I keep forgetting do the Rakuten (formerly eBates) thing. I used to do it religiously whenever I got items from Amazon or eBay. I'm slipping in my old age.

Superstore (Coquitlam) has Rib Roasts for $5.97 a lb, and tenderloin (whole loin) for around $10.00 a pound. Bought enough red meat to last me a year (I’ve got a vacuum packer). Bought a 4.2kg roast and solid tenderloin for $120!

For those PC points people, the tenderloin gives you 15,000 points. The ones in store ranged from 60-80$

Yup, Walmart started it. Their prime rib is AAA Angus. Not sure what Superstore’s is.

Oh, I have an MG1 vacuum sealer. It’s called ziplock freezer bags and a straw, lol. Mine sucks better.

Oh man. That may be ok for red meat, but I wouldn’t dare sucking chicken juice through the straw. Lol. When I zip locked, I filled the sink, or a large bowl full of water. Dip the bag in, instant suckage. Then zip it up without getting water in it. Lol. But man I love my “foodsaver.” Food stays fresh for ages.

MG1 10-11-2019 09:27 PM

I don't freeze chicken, but cow's blood.......... Mmmmmmm...........

Long straw is secret to success. Plus, I drain as much as possible beforehand. I do the pot thing, too. My huge ass pot I use with sous vide.

This is harder to get, but have you considered Youtube Premium? It comes with Youtube Music, which is actually not bad. I'm just more used to Spotify overall, but having the no ads on mobile and TV is amazing for Youtube.

Just something to consider.

JayEch 10-17-2019 01:16 PM

Just looked into it. People seem to have a bad experience with youtube music. Has it gotten better? Can you offline listen to any song uploaded to youtube?

The Caramel Brulée was good, as usual. Once a year, is all I can take, LOL. Too sweet.

MG1 11-07-2019 07:14 AM

At the Bay. Today only, Dyson Animal V8 with bonus 6-piece cleaning set for $379.99. I wAnder if you can get Canadian Tire to price match and get digital CT Money. I have enough Dyson products around the house, but someone here might be looking for a fairly decent cordless vac.

I love these one day only sales at the Bay.

If you know anyone in the Armed Forces, let ‘em know that BedBath and Beyond is honouring them with 25% off entire purchase. Probably lots of small print stuff, but 25% isn’t bad.

Valid from tomorrow to the 11th.
