One for the confessions part of this thread................

On my way home after work, I drive by the Brighton Ave. Costco. After a long ass drive, I'm starving. When I get there, I immediately head for the restaurant (more like a hole in the wall). I order their hot dog deal. $1.49 for a huge ass hot dog and refillable drink. At the condiment cart, I carefully unwrap the hot dog and take the wiener out. I then pile on the onions. You can get a lot more on there this way. On goes the ketchup and mustard, then the weiner and jalapeno at top. I fill up drink and take lots of serviettes and a fork, for picking up those awesome onion bits that fall off when eating the hot dog, LOL.

By the end of the meal, I'm out of Diet Coke. so I go and fill 'er up and browse the aisles for deals of the week. I sip on the drink as I hit all the sample carts. By the time I finish shopping, it's time to get one more refill for the road.

I love Costco...........

Recently, I've been going to McD's because of their free premium drinks printable coupon.

Buying 7 boxes of cereal to get the bonus points. I don't even eat 7 boxes of cereal in a year!

Bring them to the next RS mini meet. I plan on bringing some goodies the next time I'm there.

I hope you got some Honey Nut Cheerios........

Probably stiched, or he has one of them hand held rolling scanners.

LoL... actually, I cut the receipt into three sections that would fit in the scanner for my all-in-one printer, and then merged them together with Photoshop afterwards. :p

do u ever use the products or just collect and store it for the sake of it?

MG1 03-23-2012 07:52 PM

He's going to sell them at the Night Market, LOL.

Sky_High 03-23-2012 08:15 PM

^ the rent at the Night Market will never break-even his cost.

Selling it at a garage sale / sidewalk stand would be better. $1/ item :fullofwin:

We have to have a mini RS hoarder meet... Hoard not whore.......

Show the wares and fruits of our labour.

Do we not ever have a swap meet? I have so much car parts and car audio parts, it's not funny. A tailgate swap meet at some abandoned parking lot, LOL.

anyone looking for a new pair of sunglasses?

DealTicker: Toronto daily deals. $39 for Ray-Ban Wayfarer Sunglasses (Choice of 3 colours) - Taxes Included ($149.95 Value) - DealTicker.com

bought a pair of real raybans for $49 ($10 shipping) not a bad deal

pastarocket 03-24-2012 09:58 PM

Anyone know the best online coupon sites for restaurant meal discounts? Groupon, surrey.com, and the Red Pocket are some sites that I visit. Any others to watch out for?

Looks like a good price, but the website looks a bit sketchy since there's no real information about the company...

Either way, that deal is for the model 2140 aka the original Wayfarers. Most of the ones you see people wearing on the street and most of the knockoff ones are of the new redesigned style model 2132 and for a good reason since they're really big and awkwardly shaped IMO

Sky_High 03-24-2012 10:57 PM

Just FYI, please use the deals thread:

We do use most of the products, although we consume them pretty slowly. Of course, I've given away a lot of the stuff to family and friends too...

i'm not one to cheap out when it comes to health but i came across this...did a bit if research and it doesn't seem detrimental at all. Granted i was very skeptical of the one size fit all claim.

https://www.daysoftcontactlenses.com/CA/Buy.aspx
cheap daily contact lenses
no Rx necessary
people with astigmatism is outta luck

quick background on the company
Quote:

Ron Hamilton invented daily-disposable contact lenses and built the first laboratory in the world dedicated to making them. When Bausch & Lomb (B&L), the biggest eye-care company in the world, approached him for distribution rights he offered to sell them the company and the patent rights.

Following his 5-year non-compete agreement he was very disappointed that the price of daily-disposables made by B&L, CIBA, J&J and CooperVision remained so high that many contact lenses wearers were still selecting lenses that need daily cleaning. Aware that cleaning soft contact lenses often results in discomfort, eye-infections and allergic reactions he decided to re-enter the market with an affordable, high-specification daily-disposable contact lens capable of replacing other brands ... he named the lenses 'daysoft' with the promise to 'Switch & Save'.
very positive responses on the customer service in the rfd thread
[Other] 8.99 for 32 contact lenses - daysoft.ca - RedFlagDeals.com Forums
