^ when someone overreacts to a post, what is that a sign of? Stupidity, suppressed anger, mental health issues, lack of sex, or no life?

None of the above...........

Not overreacting.

A & W must be desperate. Free unlimited coffee for a month. It’s a subscription. They call it a sipscription, lol. Anyway, you visit their site and sign up. Starting in March. They send you a notice after one month. You can continue with the subscription or end it. They made it sound like it could be a longer trial period. One coffee per visit however many times or locations you want to go.

Wait, this should be in the Freebies thread. Oh well.............

Signed up this morning. My local A&Ws don’t open until 9am according to the app (which is entirely false) so I can’t get a coffee on the way to work, and no decaf for the commute home. First world problems! :okay:

MG1 02-22-2021 06:25 PM

According to the rules, decaf is not part of the promo, which is too bad, as I like decaf..........

That's an interesting plan. Might work for some. A&W Coffee is still really bottom barrel stuff IMO, and I'm absolutely no coffee snob. My favourite go to Coffee is McDonalds Coffee if that's anything to go by. Between $1 for McD's right now and A&W, I'd probably still still pay the buck.

Yeah, it has been discussed over and over and over again. Probably in the Invisible Soul's Freebies thread.

You're right, though.............. $1.00 vs free shit water, $1.00 coffee wins all the time.

Who the fuck am I trying to kid? LOL. Can't wait for free, shit coffee. :lawl:

All kidding aside. The last batch of their coffee was pretty decent.

Besides, beggars can't be choosers

For those who took advantage of the McDonald's, "Buy a gift card and get a Big Mac free voucher," just a friendly reminder that the vouchers expire at the end of this month. Good thing about this year's voucher is it also gives you a second choice of free half dozen doughnuts. I quite like the doughnuts. They're not that bad. The doughnuts come from the suppliers frozen. I make it a point to ask for them frozen. I keep them in the freezer until I have a craving for their Boston Cream or Apple Fritter. Lasts at least a couple of months in the freezer. I don't like the pink, Homer Simpson doughnuts, but their Maple Caramel is pretty good. They're not full size doughnuts, but whatever............. it is what it is.

I never get those deals. My son gets way more stuff. It's because I'm jewish, isn't it.............

I've tried everything.... log out, log in. Change age, gender, postal code........... if I could, I would say I'm black or first nations.

All kidding aside, anyone know how this happens?

I don't want to lose my half a dozen free fries and stuff, lol.

My wife and I find the same...different deals all the time.
Popped in tonight to get $2 game day burgers for the kids but not on my wife’s app. Lucky for us, our local restaurant has $1.49 McMuffins (any kind), limit 3, and the kids were happy to devour those!

Wow that's better than any of the coupons.

TouringTeg 03-04-2021 01:01 PM

McDonald’s app shows free cheeseburger with purchase. Can also have a large fry or hot drink with purchase.

Been enjoying a few too many $2 Big Mac. Imagine spending $5.69 on a Big Mac.

MG1 03-04-2021 01:04 PM

The cheeseburger deal is on my app! Woohoo...........

If I do, it’s with free medium fries and medium drink. Just fill out their survey on line. The URL is on the back of any receipt. I do the survey and then PDF the voucher. It’s good for a two week cycle. Actually, you can have a salad instead of the fries.

BTW, the offer is no good if the receipt was more than two weeks old. No biggie, just change the date.

Uber eats offering 75% off .. that's right, 75% off for 4 orders. Discount up to $20. So you know what to do ... order about $27 worth of food. Separate your orders into 2 or 3 if you have a large party.

Man, who is taking the hit, the restaurant or Uber ... or both?

Wtf, how did you get that? Most I ever got was 30% or 40% off...FeelsBadMan

whitev70r 03-13-2021 07:35 PM

^ oh, so it's customized offer, not a universal one. I hardly order from UberEats, I think that's why, they want to entice me to use app. But they have no idea of my frugality ... no discount of at least 40% ... I no use app.
