Walmart rolled back their price on 946 mL International Delight Creamers. $3.97 starting yesterday. BTW, Walmart stopped price matching last year. Save-On-Foods, Shoppers Drug Mart, and Superstore are the only ones left that price match. Anyway…………..

Popeye's has 1/4 lb shrimp for $2.99 with purchase. No app needed. I bought their biscuit for 99¢ and got the deal. I ordered one of their deep fried Strawberry Cream Cheese Pies, but it didn't work. Lady goes, get a biscuit and you'll get the shrimp for $2.99. BTW, the biscuit was pretty good. Through their app, you get a free pie with any combo order, so it was a toss up. The pie is pretty darn good. $1.29, IIRC. I went to the Kingsway near 10th avenue location.

I actually preferred the Ghost Pepper McChicken.

Is it just me getting older or picky taste buds or BK in general has gone downhill in quality? Over the years the last 3-4 times I went there for Whoppers and various burgers have been far below average. Dry and tasteless. Doesn't have the flame-broiled taste I remember from 10+ years back.

I have win win chick'n Groupons from/for them coming out of my ying yang......... I go to the Main Street location and wait for Groupon 10 bucks off and other perks to really get best bang for the buck.

Large pieces and different enough that it's noteworthy. Bottom line, I get it because of the Groupon. Sides are alright.

One chicken place to avoid is the Korean chicken place on Broadway. Donkey Kong or something along those lines. Maybe because they opened up not that long ago, but I haven't felt "ripped off" at a restaurant in a long time.

Also, anyone been to Carp Sushi and Bowl across from Kingsgate Mall? Highly rated, so I went. Not impressed. I didn't get their poke bowl. Maybe that's why?

Too bad I already have three. I used to go Superstore on Marine Drive to charge for free. Then get cheap flowers from Niki Florists before picking up the chick’n. Now that the charging isn’t free, not going anytime soon.
