Anybody see any website links to coupon discounts for gas? -heard on the news that gas prices can go up to as much as $1.70/Litre in the summer.

MG1 04-15-2012 05:45 AM

I printed out the coupons and headed out to the various Safeways in my area yesterday. No problem getting the eggs. Cashier said the lasagna was a pretty good deal, so I bought one of those, as well. The lasagna is the Safeway Select ones, which are better than the regular stuff they sell. Made in Canada, not any of that US stuff that could be made with "pink slime".

The deals are only good till the end of today, so you need to hurry if you want eggs, pineapples, or lasagna. There were so many eggs left on the shelves this time around. I guess not many people got hold of the coupons. Anyway, the printable ones on WestEnder's site works. All Safeway needs is the PLU code on the coupon.

More info on pink slime, for those who are interested.........

Thank god this shit isn't allowed in Canada.

Not exactly sure if this goes here, but Autoglym products are 25% off @ Canadian tire. Even their wax, which is now $38 vs $50.

TBC Indoor Racing Deal of the Day | Groupon Vancouver

TBC karting has their $9/race groupons again.

I know there are a few guys that work at TBC on here, are they able/willing to give RS regulars discounted prices? I'd go more often if that's the case :)

I think the person meant, without the groupon, can RS'ers get in for $9..

InvisibleSoul 04-27-2012 02:12 PM

I think the other deals are even better... like the $199 option for 30 minutes racetime for up to 12 people.

Under $17 per person for 30 minutes of racing? Hells yeah!

Peanut shortage in the US. Been expecting prices to jump for a while.

Adam's Natural Crunch in the 1kg glass container is $8.50 at Thrifties here but sometimes goes on sale for $6 at other stores. Hoping to see that price again and stock up.

Canadian Tire is having another scratch & save event this Friday, Saturday & Sunday (May 18-20). You should get your scratch card in your local flyer.

Prizes are:
1) $5000 CDN Tire gift card
2) $5 off your purchase
3) $5 M&M meats coupon

If you do the flashlight trick to see what's under the scratch area, the last 4 digits in the bar code can tell you what you've won. The ink is kinda light, so it may be easier to look at the barcode itself (on the far right).

1) 5622 = $5 off, barcode: two thick lines followed by two thin lines
2) 5630 = $5 M&M coupon: 4 thin lines
