Hellofresh is having a promo right now. They say it's 6 servings but the portion were quite small. Still not bad for 3 meals at a cost of 10.99 each.

I would order it and have the subscription canceled immediately unless you like it.

The recipe isn't bad too, it's delicious, just small...

Original price: $82.99
with discounts: $32.99

I know all the RS ballers fill up with Shell 93 and Chevron 94, but for cheapa$$ peasants like me, here is a $5 fuel discount card from Mobil / Esso:

https://www.esso.ca/en-ca/fdc?utm_ca...rm=EN_National

promo code: ESSO

You'll need to download the Mobil / Esso SpeedPass+ app on your phone, and enter the above promo code into the app. And while you are at it, you should also enter the PC Optimum card number into the app for a 3.5c/L discount at Mobil, or 10c/L discount at Esso.

The $5 discount card will show up as 5c discount per L for 100L, valid until Sept 30.

Correction -- the PC Optimum discount when filling up at Esso is 10 pts per litre, which only works out to a 1c/L discount. But the $5 discount card will still (separately) give you 5c/L discount when filling up at Esso.

New and existing DoorDash customers who place a delivery order via the DoorDash app from participating restaurants can enjoy select $1 menu items between 2-5PM. Simply use the promo code for each day at checkout: Friday June 23 – FRIDOLLAR, Saturday June 24 – SATDOLLAR, and Sunday June 25 – SUNDOLLAR.

^ Interesting, I noticed that Door Dash is trying hard to get business with lots of promos sent my way ... and it kinda worked. And now this.

Anyone see any good Prime deals?

Prime Days doesn't usually excite me, but I logged on today and noticed Duracell batteries are all on sale. Picked up AA and AAAs. Some packs are 30% off, depending on the pack you get. Always need to have those on hand for remotes and things.

Then I noticed a small building blocks toy for my son that was 40% off.

Reg price $72 approx. All in for about $45. Not bad savings on stuff i'd have to buy anyways.

I bought candy. Diabetes incoming...

Lots of NVME SSD and 2.5" SSD on sale too. Great prices.

Blink 3 outdoor cam is on sale for like 120 bucks. Not bad!

GLOW 07-11-2023 11:52 AM

i'm thinking of just getting 1 to play with, is there a product where i can install a light to screw in to an existing outdoor bulb, but also have a mount/power option for the blind outdoor cam?

i saw 1 but it's OOS

thanks, that may work for a low cost option, i was thinking of something what Wasserstein made that didn't need an adapter, as I'm not sure if the adapters are weatherproof

Got a fire stick for use in the minivan. 55% off.

I try to stay away from Duracell. I've had bad luck with them over the years. They leak more than Energizers in my experience.

Just got back from picking up my free 2 L tub of Western Family Premium Ice Cream. Got the offer because I used a CIBC credit card at some point. I usually pay with my Triangle World Elite Card, 'cause 4% on groceries. I guess I forgot and pulled out the CIBC Costco Mastercard. Get cash back on Restaurants.......... not complaining. Ice cream is worth $7.95, not that it's worth that.

Then at Superstore, got four Kit Kat bars for $1.00 off (limit of 4), plus 400 points on top of that. PC Optimum Offer via app.

I'm still bitter Save On got rid of the Premium Vanilla flavor ice cream (not French Vanilla). It was my favorite flavor in that lineup (followed closely by Death by Chocolate)

MG1 08-11-2023 05:55 PM

Agree......... I had to settle for French Vanilla today.

Bailey's over plain vanilla ice cream.

Try Chapmans French vanilla. It’s really really good. Chapman ice cream in general is like the taste of childhood to me. It’s what those yellow buckets of no name vanilla ice cream used to taste like.

MG1 08-11-2023 09:45 PM

Did I mentioned I got it for free? I have never in my life tried the Western Family brand.

MG1 08-11-2023 09:46 PM

Have you tried Edaleen Dairy Ice Cream?

Not a big fan of French Vanilla, but I like Chapman's Neapolitan ice cream sandwiches. Definitely tastes like childhood.

I was pleasantly surprised at their quality when I tried them a few years ago. They used to be $6.50 and on sale for $3.50 / $4 during covid, but those days are long gone now. Which flavor did you get?

MG1 08-11-2023 10:13 PM

French Vanilla

Whoops missed that part of your replay a few posts up lol. All of their Signature flavors are worth a try - not sure what flavors you're into but all the ones I tried were pretty decent.

Shoppers Drug Mart is having their Super Weekend Sale.

100 Nestle Halloween Chocolates for $10.99. Anything close to 10¢ each is a good deal. Also, if you are an Optimum member, spend $75.00 or more and receive 20000 points. That's $20.00 back in points. This is on top of regular points.

They had all kinds of other pretty good deals. Everything from headphones and TV's to a Nespresso machine.

None of this is worth it if you're not an Optimum Card holder.
