BOGO Teenburgers at A&W thanks to the Blue Jays win. Now waiting for typical RS comments................ I wouldn't get anything there if they paid me to go...... Amberlamps had to be called, because I nearly died from eating there......... It was like eating cardboard.............. Food looked like Integra Girl's ass - sorry for making fun of your g/f, Vansterdamned, butt............. |
https://mma.prnewswire.com/media/226...tine.jpg?w=600 didn't now they came out with something new.... they listened to all these customized feedback and this popped out. |
I honestly can't tell you where there's a Harvey's is this the same place that used to be in Home Depots? |
Yup. I think there used to be a location in Tsawassen Mills. I’ve been there and Amberlamps took forever to show up, lol. No more locations in BC. Every province, except BC. Go figure. |

Harvey’s burger meat tastes like disgusting cheapo hot dogs lol Even after it’s cooked you can see all the ground bits etc. last time I had one when it was still in the Langley Home Depot it was disgusting lol |

I’ll see if the boy wants to go out for one later on. |
I actually quite like the A&W burgers and the Teen Burger is one of my favourite options. |
Well, I'm having my Teenburger as I watch the Jays' game. You guys are right. It's pretty good. No offers for a while, me thinks. The Jays are up against Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton, Juan Soto, Anthony Rizzo, Alex Verdugo............... these guys should be called NY Giants. 3 game series............ maybe deals in a week, tee hee. |
A&W beef taste weird. I prefer the one with hormones and fillers. This real grass fed shit tastes foreign to me |
^Now that's more like it.................. Kirkland does not disappoint. |
So I would generally agree A&W has the best actual burger when it comes to fast food, but outside buy one get one they’ve become incredibly expensive. I also think given the lineup I’d take a baconator over any A&W burger Just in Vegas was able to satisfy my In-n-out craving. Fuck there is just something about in n out.. it’s such a weird thing because it seems like the general consensus is you either fucking love in n out, or it’s like meh this is just a regular burger, there’s not really any other restaurant chain that is so polarizing lol My go to is 3x3 with grilled chopped chilis and onions, fuck hits the spot every single time https://i.imgur.com/WZckTgn.jpeg |
My perspective on in-n-out is that as a unique burger as it own thing (e.g. like a big Mac doesn't taste like a burger, it tastes like a big mac) it's really good, but if you wanna actually taste the beef and the flavor and quality of the Hamburger patty itself then I prefer shake shack. |
Have you guys tried Burger Crush downtown? It's the closest approximation I could find to In n' Out in Vancouver, way better than Caliburger from a few years back.. Too bad it's like expensive as fuck though. How much does an In n' Out 2x2 cost these days? The equivalent at Burger Crush is $16. |
go try that Cuban Crunch sandwich from Subway, ITS DELICIOUS!!!! probably the best sandwich they make right now |
In n out is still a deal, even in Vegas A double double, a 3x3, and animal style fries was only like $20 USD on the dot even at the strip location |
20 usd for a burger!? thats like 28 bucks canadian!!!!! ya'll crazy. Just buy 2 mcdoubles, mush them together and shove it all up in yerrr face for 5 bucks...5 canadian bucks 28 bucks is almost 3 batches of XLBS, or 2 bowls of Pho at thai son |
For two big burgers and fries for $20 seems pretty good. A Big Mac is what $8-9 on a regular day with tax? The way I approach the states is just don’t consider the conversion and think of it as a good deal lol |
Yeah eating in the states is the same as here, except you end up paying 40% more when your card converts. :okay: |
$1.49 day at save one today, I love these deals they have strawberries that are normally $5.99 for the $1.49 today. |
I've always loved Shake Shack personally. If they ever open one here, watch out. |

I think Westopher mentioned before that the standard for food quality is much higher in Canada with our laws as compared to the US. Hence the different taste in cheese, chocolate, etc |
