Hey RS,

I'm playing in some charity dodgeball tournament for juvenile diabetes at the Richmond Oval at the end of July. They have a group rate for the River Rock available so I thought I'd share.

It's $125 tax and fees included per night from July 27-29 (Friday-Sunday). There's also a free breakfast buffet for two per room.

The link is https://gc.synxis.com/rez.aspx?Hotel...1207INTERN_003

Or if that doesn't work, go to JDRF Dodgeball Open >> 1st Annual Dodgeball Tournament at Richmond Olympic Oval for Juvenile Diabetes Cure and it's right besides the video.

I would love to go to BK more, but there are not many locations out there, and it's always in more shady areas (main/terminal), hastings etc.

I always loved BK but I find their management is horrible. The maintenance isnt as great and it just doesnt feel as "clean" as mcdonalds.

BK management group in Vancouver needs to step it up!

Have to scratch it in front of a cashier. But take some scotch tape to remove some of gold scratch stuff nd then put a flash light underneath to see what you have won.

Thanks man! Never thought of that

MG1 06-17-2012 09:50 AM

^ I put a tiny scratch about one inch long where the end of the bar code is supposed to be. The Armorall prize has thick line and two thin lines at the end with no gaps. The 5 dollar one has thick line, a gap, and then the two thin lines. Out of seven cards, 4 were 5 bucks off. The things one has to do to get 5 bucks off, eh?

I should have done what manic suggested............ LOL.

OK, you garden gnomes.......... I mean gardeners. I imagine there must be some avid gardeners out there.

Check out this sale!

Gardenworks' annual Sunrise to Sunset, everything is on sale, sale.

BC garden centre: gardening supplies, tips, advice, outdoor nurseries, annual flowers, perennials

Can't guarantee it's going to be huge as far as savings go, but it looks promising.

jlambs 06-20-2012 02:18 PM

don't know if this helps but me being asian n all i go to T&T a lot and i do mean a lot! anywho, sometimes they get pretty good deals at the end of the week and not to mention on their take out and sushi stuff usually goes on sale after 7 due to the need to toss not sold perishable items. On another note i signed up for their e mails for sales and coupons! if not you can always just visit their website and check out coupons or sales!

InvisibleSoul 06-20-2012 02:23 PM

IMO, T&T needs to give bigger discounts on their sushi after 7pm.

jlambs 06-20-2012 02:25 PM

true, but discount is a discount.

Razor Ramon HG 06-24-2012 11:20 PM

Safeway Lucerne Large Eggs. 3 for $5. Good till the 9th.

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=1&theater

I have used my iPod in the past to get these deals. Awesome, because most Safeway's have free wifi. Just make sure the PLU code is visible. This deal has a PLU code of 54099.

20% off one item or 10% off entire purchase, including sale items at Home Outfitters

http://f.enews.homeoutfitters.com/i/...oupon1_eng.pdf

This coupon also works at Beds Baths and Beyond, since they take competitor's coupons.

Zellers coupon of the week........... save $5 on purchases of $25 or more, but only on clearance, yellow tagged items. It says it can be combined with flyer items..... not sure, but wording is iffy, so read the small print.

NCIX has USB flash drives for sale

I picked up 2 ADATA 32gb USB2.0 for $15.49 each.
The 32gb USB3.0 is $25 each.. pretty good.. only my desktop supports 3.0 and not my laptop.. and since 2.0 is still mainstream, thought its good to save a few bucks for now...
No complaints about this flash drive.. pretty fast, transferring a 4gb movie at 12-15Mb/s

Flash memory is also on sale too...

Canadian tire has a sale on a OBDII scanner. Half off at $99.

Automotive teacher has one and I've used it a few times. Pretty simple and easy to use.

I'm a Royal Purple fan, but if any of you are Mobil 1 fanatics, Canadian Tire has the 4.4 Litre for $35.99, which is an OK deal, but as a bonus, you get a 1 Litre bottle of the stuff for free. That makes it a pretty good deal. Starts this coming Friday.
