yea you probably wont get the gas card, earlier when I got the call form chrysler following up to what we filled out online about the test-drive I originally wanted to do it Saturday as well but the guy advised me to do it before then for their special 50 dollar gas card promo.

btw anyone else gone to lougheed chrysler yet? if so are they cool with you just walking in and out for the gas card n skip the "test drive"?

i told the guy i didn't want the car, and was only in it for the gas, we walked to his desk and he wrote the number down for me

If you go there in person, they will most likely give you the code... but over the phone, come on.. done be lazy to drive out there at least to get the code..

its true... thats why i stopped bothering with these offers.

all i get is a staredown and shitty treatment.. yes i can understand their frustration and yes it's probably rediculously annoying for them to deal with individuals who are not even considering vehicle purchase, but fuck what do you expect if you are throwing around these free deals

i think the best "test drive" promotion event that i've ever been to without any hesitance and pressure which i actually felt comfortable was last years Hyundai test drive event in coquitlam center mall lot.

less valued prize (2 free movie tix and usb hard drive) but it was awesome, no pressure, because the guys there werent sales people but were driving instructors, so basically didn't care, which definitly made it more comfortable and enjoyable

Was there today. Super Quiet. 2 other ppl came in for the same "VIP" Deal. I Test drove the 200S Meh disappoint face yo. Felt boring for a 3.6L v6 and steering response.... Same feeling when I rented a Sebring few years ago.

Sales guy gave me an offer for the 2012 200s, talked a bit about Hyundai comparison and how the old 90's Caravan trannys would take a dump.

Then his Manager gave him a code. Noticed his trash bin was full of those codes scribed down so i'm guessing a lot of ppl have been popping in to get the gas card.

And So No, the manager wants you to least drive the car first.

Did mine today at the Lougheed location in the new 500, its a shame the Abrath version was sold

Went in, a sales person greeted me and I handed him the sheet, he took my licence and got me the keys and he (Ryan) went over some of the features and off we went. He didn't pressure me into buying, it felt comfortable. Until we got out of the car, and he asked "So, when are you looking to buying a car ?" gave him a reply and off I went.

Did the test-drive at Marine Chrysler. They don't let you test drive the SRT8 but everything else on the lot is ok. Gave me the code, went on maybe a quick run, salesguy was pretty nice said it was a slow day, he wanted to get out of the dealership lol. Test drove a charger, it's pretty nice.

Well I sure hope you're not in the customer service field, maybe you work at Richmond Subaru I don't know. I guess your stance is honesty is not the best policy, I find it better to be straight up with people instead of going in and saying something like "Oh yea I might buy this in the future, I'm in the market for this, that, blah blah," and get up their hope of a sale when you obviously have no intention of buying the car. I find that's 10x worse than being honest.

Just got my code today at Marine.

When I was there there was also a done up EP3, is it anyone here?

The experience was ok, no pressure, took a 300 out for a drive, talked a little bit, got a brochure and out I go with the code.

I drove in with my 2012 Genesis Coupe and I basically said i wanted something with more power so I wanted to drive any challenger or charger. he said quote ""do you have like 2 hours of time for the presentation?" and i just went along with it. The charger they had was apparently having a deal worked on it so he didnt let me drive it and the whole experience was kinda shitty. ended up wishing I just drove a different car like a wrangler or something haha..i even asked if i could just have the code and he said that ""any dealership who does that is probably going broke"". which i dont understand because this isnt the dealers money....

but yeah i was acting professional the entire time and even sat down and talked about looked through the car and everything for like 30 minutes.

really unhappy.

i went into the richmond automall one. there was this salesman, frank, who is a filipino guy in his 50s.
very nice guy. had a nice chat with him and took out the challenger r/t.
when he asked if i was considering i said i was in the market for a new car but one that is better on gas, and i just wanted to take the challenger for a spin. he was more than cool with it.
really didnt pressure me whatsoever.
if i knew someone who was looking for a chrysler/dodge, i would direct them to frank.
i was in and out in about 40m. 10m getting things set up, 20m drive, and a bit of a chat after.
