Haha. You'd be surprised how much I hear that in the Z forums.
Quick questions: How much are cars generally lowered.
I was just looking through Z motoring when doing research on lowering springs and they said that if you lower 1" or more then the Z will start to have alignment issues and will need a few extra parts...

Multiply that by 10x if you want it done right. $2500 can only afford you a set of properly fitted wheels.

Well I would say yes and no. Sure if it really looks nice it should also look good in pictures as well. sound argument.

However, I wasn't too keen on the bumper either until I saw it Richmond and well all I can say is. Now I am a fan of the Amuse Vestito.

mhm I assumed as much. but the guys at Zmotoring were saying that most of the lowering springs for Z are pretty standard to under 1" with the average of .8". Apparently it was because of alignment issues that the Z had if anyone went 1 or over. I heard Nissan used a brand new design for its suspension system when making the Z and ended with the company getting 14 patents for it. Idk if that has something to do with affecting alignment but in either case the alignment issue has led to some people on the Z forums to either go less than 1 or not lower the Z altogether. I heard you have to buy a few things to solve the alignment issue. imo I don't think its worth dishing out a few hundred dollars for a car thats .8 lower...

this post is going to be harsh but it looks like youre not really listening to what people are posting and is really determined to rice out your car with random bits and pieces.
if you want the kit to be fitted nicely it will cost $$$. dont forget to factor in the cost of paint. that will run you way over $2500 and you wont have money left over for wheels by then. oh yeah vinyl will cost you $800+.

its gonna look like crap without nice wheels/stance

waiting for G-Spec to chime in on this.

coils + nice wheels + lip will do you good.
below are pics of some nice and clean examples of what i mean. a bit too low though.

keep it clean cause what you want is pretty messy. but by all means, mod it to however you like, its your car bro

Nah It wasn't that harsh don't worry. haha. But I disagree with you about being totally determined to rice it out. I've decided to go on the search for a good set of coils + wheels for my car but a lot of people are more worried about bashing on the fact that I'm more rice than stance to really help me with the stance part of the build and recommend wheels, brands, vendors etc. Either way want to have finding the perfect set of wheels as a first priority right now then work my way up from there.

Forgot to tell ya, I have a few friends who are pretty good at this stuff so they said they'll help me out with the DIY after I make up mind about everything. Including wrapping which will be done at cost so hopefully that'll help me shrink down the costs.

idk maybe b/c I'm still new with modding but for some reason I don't really dig the super low oem looking 350z. I think with me it works better not to have it that low. prefer it more on like an old civic, gti or golf. imo.

Don't let them fool you, stance is rice and not everyone wants a car they can't even get out of their driveway or over a speedbump

Look into these perhaps, Function&Form coilovers priced at $925 and are 32 way dampening adjustable. I have them on my TSX and they ride very well for daily driving and allow you to go wayyyyy low and lay frame or just a subtle drop

For wheels + tires $2500 for 350Z fitment doesn't even get you that nice a set.
It will easily get decent coils though and a set of varrstoens too.

Found a set that I liked:

VarrsToen » ES 2.2.2 (19″) | Gloss White | Textured Matte Anthracite | Cobalt Blue |

looks a lot like Te37 imo lol.
Any idea roughly how much a set is off of them?

I would never buy replica wheels.. How do you know what standard they were built at and quality? My friend had replica wheels on his car, looked just like the real thing and he drove over a pothole and rim basically broke in 2 peices lol

and OP u seem like a young big dreamer with a very small budget for what your goals are no offense.... But my advice is Coilovers first , then save for wheels / tires. Then put a intake / exhaust on and it will feel like a diff car
